Luckily for Ganguly, Sachin was the main key player of that team, unlike Ganguly nothing did as a batsman in Sachin's Captaincy

lol. Luckily for tendulkar there were strong individuals who could carry his azz to world cup glory. Ganguly hoped sachin would and sachin choked. :(

Sachin and SRK both are legend in their respective fields... Cricket is Sachin's passion, anyway you will not understand..
How many years of play gives satisfaction? Appreciate his love for game but he is robbing an youngsters chance of playing test cricket. He takes rest whwnever he feels and sone youngster comes into squad..the moment he joins..that player will no where be considered again. Im not against Sachin. Everyone has to consider it some day so that game will move on!!

Sachin want to earn more money from cricket for his next generation.He never think for others ( Youngsters ) if everybody want to play till 40 years then our youngster will never get a chance.

Sachin will never satisfied.Because he knows that once he will be out from cricket a substial amount of fame and money he have to lose. Moreover many more problems will crop up.

lol. well that is how you have to rationalize it as things have to fit into the myths you hold dear. :)
cricketers will run for retirement, many will go superfast, all gods and angels will the first ones, all will be fully satisfied with their acheivements, will immediately want to give to youngsters.
Only Great people get better with age, Sachin is & will remain one of the all time Greats of cricket. He's shown everybody the power of focus, determination ,humility & skill put together. There might never be another Sachin to emulate him in any meaningful way

Great people also gain the wisdom which pretenders dont. Sachin missed that lesson it seems.
