The home team has never won the World Cup, except Sri Lanka but the final was played in Pakistan and they were under dogs. Its too much pressure to deliver in front of home crowd. So I wont be surprised if India dont win the World Cup. It would be great if they do though.

Will it matter one can't always win. some one has to loose then Cricket is a game of luck. Luck which players try to manipulate to their advantage. sometimes they succeed some time they fail. And if one fails then they should loose with dignity. There is always another day Every new sun brings new hopes.

only one person can not change the result. this is team work. as per your statement if he is the man of the series holder then what should i say to you. Means you already agreed that other team guys doing nothing for team.

Dhoni, the captain is not giving support to sreesanth, and always try to sideline him? Sree is a good bowler, only thing he should have some support from the captain which he does not have. Even media says dhoni had not given him supportings

It really sad how low support he gets really. Infact if there is some sort of aggessive impact from the indian pace bowing unit, Sree has been a major factor in it. With the right suppport he could turn into a sharp bowler. Dhoni's public critisicm to the media about his agrresiveness just after Smith's comments, were pitiful. If he disagreed with Sree's behaviour he should have sorted it out with him in person, and not in front of the media. What do we want, a tame soft spoken fast bowling attack which no one cares or atleast some aggresiveness in it?

well said............dhoni likes tame military medium pace bowlers and thats why he supports joginder sharma...........he was given the last over to bowl in t20 world cup final.........he is not even a club level bowler. luckily for dhoni misbah ul haq mis cued a freindly bowl and got out............dhonis captaincy is crap and too defensive . because of players giving good performence we win matches..................both irfan pathan and sreesanth were not supported........or else we would have had a world class alrounder and a feared paceman in sreesanth.........gambhir supports his team members and should be given captaincy throwing dhoni out of the team itself

Dhoni is already becoming consistent with his low performance with bat, and even behind the stumps sometimes. The fact that India is winning matches is not a matter of just captaincy but dedicated effort from all players. Apart from taking undue credit, he has lately been so interested in criticising members of his team. If this continues, it wouldnt be long before he falls. He better understand it. I particularly like the approach of Gary Kirsten, who i believe is playing a major role in Indian success, but never tries to come into the limelight of media or takes credit.

I have been saying this for a long time .Dhoni didnt play well for the last two years in either Test or One day.He wins some matches with the help of others.he is unlucky in winning tosses.Should remove him and try Partiv who played well against Newzealand. If sree had done something wrong Smith should have given complaints.
