why do u bring in Srikanth when the final say is that of Dhoni's. No doubt Srikanth must have favoured Vijay, Karthik etc but I dont think he would have favoured Jadeja coz he is losing an oppurtunity to put one more from TN

SREEKANTS, SELECTION TENNURE IS LIKE HIS BATTING WITH NO SENSE OF RESPOSBILITY, HE IS VINDICATING PATHAN FOR HIS PERSONAL REASON AND NOT FOR CRICKETING REASON, NOT ONLY PATHAN EVEN SIDDHARTH TRIVEDI IS OVERLOOKED, FOR HIM SITTING IN THE SOUTH THE WESTERN STATE OF GUJARAT SEEMS TO BE VERY FAR HOPE AND WE FEEL GUJARAT CANNOUT PRODUCE GOOD CRICKTERS
Unfortunately our selectors are jokers. They do not use any logic but use only the personal agenda, ego & relation while selecting. Non perfomers like Murali Vijay is given chance becoz he is fm Chennai. Uthappa shud hv been in Vijay's place. Irfan is the best choice ahead of many as he can bat well compared to other seamers like Nehra or Vinay Kumar.

Traditinally, the BCCI selectors have extiguished more talents than ahve nurtured. Only consolation would perhaps be - Irfan would continue to be star in T20 and earn.
If he did not report for a match and he does not informed about his absence then it is a serious indiscipline issue and should not be tolerated. He have to work on his bowling and come back as he was in 2003 where he consistently performed with the ball and did a match winning performances with ball for India. He can take Zaheer as example as both were at thier peak form when they started and lost their form after sometime.Zaheer went back to County Cricket and made a come back to Indian team and cemented his place.Irfan can do that also

This is really very surprising that Irfan is totally ignored.It is nothing more thaan poltics.Selectors arespoiling life of talented all rounder.He may not be doing best in bowling but he is not bad also.He is very useful for 2nd line batting but what these selectors doing no body knows.
No Show for "Lack of Confidence", what kind of aN excuse is this?? Does he think he was called to play for Popatwadi xi?? and how does a cricketer gain confidence by staying out of field or playing on the field??? Good he deserves what he is getting. Note: No cricketer has ever refused a endorsement for "Lack of Confidence"
Dhoni and Srikanth seems to be arrogant and thick headed in that they want to select non performers and selfish cricketers like Jadeja and Rohit Sharma when they have done little of note. Any day Pathan is better than that Jadeja who is a retarded cricketer

Irfan Pathan was igonored.....Robin Uthappa was insultaed even not selecting him for India-A.....Manish Pandey got herd deal....AT Rayudu & Sourabh Tiwary certainly desrve a places in atleast T20 squad as they proved there mettle in IPL for MUmabi........Now , BCCI & Krish Shrikanth should answer, why these players could not picked even with second string teams..its politics....its..madness...its....serious comedy......

Only 11 players can be selected for Team and in the present team all the players place other than Jadeja is justified.Everyone will agree on this...........

He can probably play as a batsman. His bowling is hopeless now. Right through the IPL he went for no less than 10 an over and culminated in two half trackers against Dhoni which led to Chennai qualifying for the semis.
I think all the players and selectors should be made accountable for performances. Like when they are rewarded for winning they should be penalized for pathetic performances. Also no of endorsement should also be limited fo 3 maximum. Its public money they are enjoying and its the public who are made to look like fools watching these stupid performace and parody of selection
