It wasnt easy to bat on it !! Do you actually have any idea how had is it to get a ball flying to the fence ! It looks easy on TV... theres too many factors involved , when your facing a decent bowler !
I am not saying this match is fixed, but if you saw performance of players like Goni, you will feel it is fixed. Eventhough tie may not have been fixed, it would have been fixed to give Punjab the points. From the look of players it appeared only Morkel, Hayden and Murali wanted to win today's match, and some of the rest may have been a part of any foul game. But we have to believe them unless there is any clear evidence. Goni has played this way even in previous games with Punjab (in earlier editions of IPL). The way he controlled batting with only a few deliveries to go, coupled with his fielding and bowling efforts, makes one suspect his intention.

If it is nonsense to you, believe and enjoy. I have been seeing and playing cricket probably when you were not even born. I have seen a lot of cricket at the highest level and know what I say. I know of instances in Mumbai (when I was there a decade back) when cops seized dozens of mobiles and crores from a raid on bookies den. The persons who did it were forced to turn their back and drop their investigations because of threats.

ha.. ok you know what you say but others really don't care unless it makes bit of a sense. Now what does IPL gotta do with what you saw in Mumbai a decade ago? Time has changed and so has India..

Note that betting is legal in many countries and IPL matches are bet for amounts far higher than what players get for playing (that itself being in crores). Betting is legal and fixing is illegal. Believe everyone and enjoy!

I just see it for the fun of it. I am also not saying all the players may be involved with foul play. I can not think of someone like Sachin, Dravid, Laxman, Sehwag, Gambhir or Pathans or those overseas players like Hayden, Kallis, Steyn, Murali, Warne, Nannes etc to be part of any foul play. Again, as I said, nobody can prove or disprove anything. How and why someone like Azhar or Hansie Cronje get involved with it? Azhar fielded in each and every match with the same intensity as he did when he started playing. So, one can never prove by their expressions alone.
