Re: CSk wat a joke

ha ha. good one. what language does Dhoni speak when he plays for Chennai. These southies will want our players to play for them but won't speak our official language.
First, Parthiv Patel, without knowing where the ball went, called Raina for a single, which Raina should have refused. Raina was run out unnecessarily at that stage.
As I have said several times, Badrinath is a childish cricketer who is fit to play only in Ranji matches against sides like Kerala, Goa and Andhra, not even against Karnataka and Hyderabad in South Zone. When Raina was out, Murali Vijay should have come in, especially after he had shown his worth in the middle order in the match against Delhi, scoring quick runs.
When Badri and Murali were out, it was expected of Parthiv and Morkel to play sensibly thereafter to take the team to a comfortable and systematic win. Morkel, despite being the player with maximum number of T20 matches under his belt, seems like a Sanyasi in the middle. Being a senior pro, he should have prevailed on Parthiv to stay till the end and not play the kind of shot he did to get himself out.
When Parthiv was out, Raina should have sent in Ashwin, who is statistically a for better batsman in domestic first class cricket than Goni. Goni didn't seem to know the asking rate at all, which was just one run per each ball. He wasted a few deliveries in trying to play a forcing shot for a four or six unnecessarily and then got out to one such ambitious shot. Even in this situation, one did not see Morkel trying to calm down or guide Goni.
In the end, CSK took the match to super over, instead of winning by 7 or 6 wickets comfortably!
Murli and Badri should be out only from the team... yes Murli was unlucky.. but actually they both are also unlucky for the team.. in whichever team they play.. India or CSK... They should not be in any team.. better give chance/opportunities to someone better than them... Unnecessarily wasting other talents at the cost of people who are pathetic... in all formats of game... They are just getting chance because Mr. Srikanth want themmm... Shear favorism.. nothing else

I am not a Tamilian and I dont believe Srikanth is favouring anybody. But even if he did, no player can actually play for India for a long time unless he did have talent. Remember how Ganguly got selected into the Indian team in 1996 amidst the furore and protests? Everybody blamed the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) chief Dalmiya of sneaking Ganguly into the Indian team. But we all know what Ganguly did in that tour and the rest is history! So even if Srikanth is favouring any Tamilian (and I doubt he is), the Muralis and the Vijays have to play well to stay in the team. Srikanth cannot play for them!

You are right Abhi... I completely agree with you. However, you also have to agree that you cannot compare Mr. Ganguly with these Vijaysss and Murliisss... Mr. Ganguly may not be in top notched form right now but we all know how much he has already done for India... Well letsw wait and see. You are also right mentioning that Srikanth cannot play for them.. But we can see in every post and pre interview praising these two fellas thats why I wrote those comments

I agree with you. Ganguly should have been in the Indian team in 1991 five years before his test debut. He was selected for a series in 1991 and did not get a single chance to play either as a batsman or as a bowler. He played a ODI match as substitute for someone and after that he was dropped from the side. Players like Robin Singh also suffered more than a decade before getting into the Indian Team.
when parthiv patel hit a six, umpire judged 4 instead of a six.it was very obvious. alas those 2 runs cost them a match. an appealing system should be there.

Just accept that Punjab won the match. After every match there will be thousands of what-if scenarios. So stop being such a baby and take it like a man.
