jadeja can be a dangerous all rounder - we have seen during zimbu series haha
If after lackluster performances, Jadeja and Kartick can be again given chances, why not Irfan, Uthappa or Yusuf? Why can't Rayudu be given a chance to prove himself? What politics are the selectors are playing, God only knows.

Dinesh Kartick was the man of the match in the Srilanka-India final held before the test matches.
why Uthappa not selected? It is not a true indian team, rather Srikant's personal squad. Why Karthik a non playing player? You can try Lakshman. He is not performing in Tests. Let him be wasted in Onedayers also.

uthappa is not fit.he has just undergone a surgery in his right shoulder and he is now presently in a rehabilation process.so his selection is not possible

what about ambati rayadu?no doubt he is a fine talent with mature cool head from what i had seen in IPL.before that he had already proved himself at ranji level.only because he opted for ICL he is given a cold shoulder.he is much better than karthik, kohli or jadeja.
Absolute lack of ideas. Its not with only Dhoni and Kirsten, but with selectors. Worst DHONI and Srikant playing Win-Win.
Let us take a couple of the example .
1. DINESH KARTHIK, selected as an opener. This is most ridiculous section of all. Karthik, neither remained the best keeper nor he could show promise as a consistent performer. Still he keep on getting chances after chances. Courtsey, TAMILNADU bias (great Mr. Shrikant). Also he suits DHONI as he can never be a threat to Dhonias a back up option and will always be a SUBSTANDARD second fiddle.
Question is where is Utthapa? Where is Manish Pandey? Where is Ambati Raydu? Well it seems Dinesh Karthik is best them of all? Wonder Shrikant writes the script of Indian cricket.
2. Ishant Sharma. Como'n. He is just a LANGDA bowler who refuses to delvier despite being given opportunity after opportunity. Why not Ashok Dinda? Why not Umesh Yadav? Why not that new lad from Bengal? Why not Vinay Kumar? (at least they can not be worst then ISHANT)
Well again, this is something you need to wonder. There are players who never get an opportuntiy, and there he is ISHANT, for one good season, got opportunity for next 3 season WITHOUT performing. Great work Shrikant and co.
Well there are so many other instances. But it seems that DHONI after receving 200 crore deal, Kirsten realizing that he is on the end of his tensure and so as Shrikant, it seems to go to same notion that people following cricket does'nt MATTER.

I think Dhoni is more smart than we cumulatively think. He is playing win-win with Srikant on one hand, and showing his HELPLESSNESS on the other, specially for those players whom he wants to keep in team without performance like RP Singh.
Also they have developed an understanding now after being togather in Chennai super king. No surprise if Anirudha Shrikant is playing T20 in next few months.
Dhoni is more shrewed and tactical than people of India can imagine. He knows how to control the emotions of people of India.

see in the selection process it is not in dhoni's hand to select or drop a player it is completely in the hands of the selectors.so why blaming dhoni for everything

Not for everything but seriously he should be blamed.. He has the power for saying Good/Bad/Worst things happen in the field. Ridiculas Jadeja geting chance again & again.Cant he stop selector on this but no...Why Rohit Sharma... See the Attitude of players... Dhoni cant observ.

but once he said in twitter that his sayings are not followed by the selectors.he just gives his opinion on players but the selectors always takes the final call on selecting a player

Than He should quit Captaincy. I Remember the two best Captain India have are Md. Azharuddin & the Great Sourabh Ganguly.. and they have given their choice/option to select Good player.. Otherwise we would have not got Veeru/Yuvi/Bhajji/Zaheer/Dhoni... Please correct me if i am wrong.

u r absolutely right it was bcoz of sourav ganguly that we got such good players.but now what to do with dhoni he will not quit captaincy bcoz then he will lose all the power to control the players he will not get that fame and most importantly he will lose his market value and his endorsements will then decrease and as a result he cannot earn more money and how can he do it like that bcoz money is most important for him than any other thing
Here the team should have been selected Mahendra Singh Dhoni Virendra Sehwag Robin Uthappa Rahul Dravid (Since Sachin is rested, One Senior/matured/depth bating req.) Yuvraj Singh Suresh Raina Virat Kohli Abhishek Nair Sourabh Tiwari Dinesh Karthik Pragyan Ojha (Last Chance) R Ashwin RP Singh Ashish Nehra Praveen Kumar Ishant Sharma or Try a New Bowler ( Pankaj Singh/Siddhart Trivedi)

rahul dravid is a bad choice.he is unable to play test cricket where he can take some time and play then how he cann play odi where he should adjust to the fast rate nature of odi cricket.

U can not Judge a player for just 2 innings. Still I believe he is one of the Best Batsman for Indian Cricket

not just 2 innings my friend from 2 years he is out of form and he is still in the team and so now it is high time for him to think about his career

Why did BCCI selected him for SA tour for ODI .. coz they know they do not have quality player except Sachin Tendulkar for such bouncy wicket. It is not T20 everybody will come and play 20 runs.

lots of "idiots" and "bunch of jokers" are in favour of "20-20" format "phalthu" players...we all know how these young and useless team suffered humiliating defeat at the hands of club class ZIM team resently ...neglecting dravid at the crucial no.3 position is a severe draw back for team india in 1 dayers....till today he is the best no.3 in 1 dayers...capable of holding innings, building partnerships, accelerating and finishing while chasing a big score....in fact he should have been selected for an opening position on a seaming friendly "dhambula" pitch.....commenting negatively abt dravid's ability in 1 dayers is an absolute nonsense.....he is a must for team india for the comming WC..
