Re: YOSUF NOT FIT TO LEAD

Your are right. Yusuf is a fickle-minded person--examples: changing his relegxxx, not being able to decide whether to join ICL or not.
did not win the match, it was Pak that lost the match.
One many gives various superlatives to Ausi and its captain Ponting. But the fact is that any team that can not even score 176 runs, do not deserve to win.
My point is if a team can score even 176 runs to win the match, then you do not deserve to win. You know, the pitch was not all that bad after 1st day.
I am a regular follower of cricket articles....When Australia lost even a single game all the blame was on Ponting many were there asking for his resignation because I am not able to find thereason...but today they won it was no doubt a great turn around but no one is there to mention his name for this win...I agree it was a team effort and they won but if that is the case when they lost it was also by team why to blame only Ponting I want to say Ponting was a great batsman and a good captain... Readers please don't say bla bla...I am not comparing him to any team or individual. I am just saying what I observed in the recent articles since West Indies tour of Australia

I was going thru your post n i am bound to say tht there is so much inconsistency. Just tell me one thing when did australia loose to any team since westindies tour of aus (as mentioned by you in last para of yours). So why sum one will blame ponting?

I AGREE IT WAS MY MISTAKE NOT LOST...IT WAS SECOND test against windies which was a draw...for that I ve read article some ex-players asking for him to step down....You are right they are inconsistent,...but in my opinion it takes time for them to become consistent esecially when almost entire team changed at once....so give him time to build the team (saying in Cricket spirit don't take it as an offence Indian Team...I love Indian Team to be @no 1)

Do you mean to say that the worst terrorist attack on India killing over 300 innocents in Mumbai is squared by a cricket win by Australia over Pakistan!
Please mind that the woundmark of 26/11 will remain on our skin for centuries and even the 10th generation will not forget it.
Its pity that people in Mumbai forgot it too soon and voted back a Govt which not only failed to give them adequate security, but also jeered them by serving 5 star biryani and butter chicken to the one caught.

Australia beats Pakistan in cricket and you are saying "revenge for 26/11 is completed, at last"
So, should we leave Ajmal Kasab and the other culprits behind the attacks?

Yes, there was something for everyone in this pitch. Great wicket indeed!
Pak dismissed Australia for 127 on first day. Most of the participants on this board scripted a massive defeat for Australians. Pak took 206 run first innings lead. Australia hit back with 381 in second innings, Great innings from Mike Hussey and Shane Watson (unlicky to get out in nervous nineties), and of course great bowling by Pak bowlers.
Till end of 4th day, it was Pakistan's match. But Hussey and Siddle took it away with brilliant class of batting today. It was a great piece of mind work of Hussey who crafted a wonderful 8th wicket partnership. Yet, 175 was achievable.
But Bolinger, Johnson and star of the day Hauritz had something else in the mind. Australia snatched victory from the jaws of defeat!
Pak were definitely unlucky. They completely dominated on first four days, but fizzed out on the D Day.
