There are hundreds of millions children, woman and men across this vast nation who work much harder but still don’t get two square meals a day or roof over their heads. This idiocy about this pathetic lazy so-called sport of loser is for a few pampered elite to make them feel better about their otherwise worthless themselves. This mass hysteria is from group of these losers.

Come on Ronny ...The way vb writing to Priya, is totally uncalled for...And now i see the flow is from both ends...It just became personal..and vb started it in that way first...I wouldnt have supported Priya if i thought she is wrong...No gender bias here..
BharatRatna or Not..SRT is role model, inspiration for many many ppl of diff generations...If reporter ask anyone wht u think abt BharatRatna award to SRT how come anyone will say NO...??..Its very tricky..Specialy for sportsperson...be it Anand, or Saina..Its diff ballgame at all..But the fact is I am yet to see any mature SRT critic on this forum ...Ppl just rant whatevr they feel like...I am glad whole Indian society is not like these pseudointellegent, browsemaster, typing expert idiots...It takes positive mindset to accpet someones achievements and it takes pure heart to appreciate it. If u have those both qualities then apply intellegence analysis skills , some logic and then criticize ..I bet that will be good criticism...or else its just like any rediff SRT critics..the more they write the more they prove themselve morons...
what is this world coming to when we indians award a person for achieving his personal best when the country was going down the dumps and losing. compare this with the actions of Mr Kang the erstwhile GM of TajMahal hotel in Mumbai. after the pak terrorists killed his wife and children, he did not flinch from his service to his guests and kept on looking after their goodwill and their safety - almost at the cost of his own safety. That is what deserves a Bharat Ratna and not a game played by 11 fools and watched by 11000 and now watched on TV by 11 million. will some sense come into the indian citizen and mr kang be awarded the bharat ratna?

Relax ! Self- centred guy won't get it . For that matter to resist his die-hard fans from taking to blood bath to get him Some Ratna , we can introduce 'Record Ratna'

ronny - u shd be looking to get urself analysed by a psychiatrist for ur 'malabari mentality' comment. fortunately it just went off beyond to the loo - where ur comment belongs. mr kang showed what indian guts is all about. when has tendu ever shown this? it has always been his personal best, his personal record etc and to hell with india winning. and comparing him to don bradman!! - well someone said half the world is mad and he is being proved right

Menon ...I feel sorry that someone said malabari or whatever..But tell me, Wht u want; SRT to put his wife and kid in pitch, facing 95 mph bowling then he will be par with Mr.Kang..??? Wht u talking abt dude...?? Why compare apples and oranges ..and anyways if u feel Mr.Kang should get BRatna..why dont u endorse it..Dou know the procedure...someone ahs to endorse for it to committe first...Just becoz somneone supported SRT for Bratna (taht too aftre some reporter asked abt it), you r playing Mr.Kang card..?? Does that make any sense..?? Then wht abt Poilce Ombale who cought the only terrorist live at the expense of his life..?? why not him..?? grow up dude..

CM - bharat ratna is awarded for service to the nation [tho the congress party has diluted this for their own selfish benefit - awarding it to MGR was the worst]. can u pls inform what service has mr s tendu done to the nation? playing a game which is fixed by bookies, looking after his personal records more that trying to get our country to win? how is that a service to India?
Re: Re: Re: Tendulkar and Bharat Ratna - My god!
by C M on Dec 23, 2010 09:04 PM
He has no relation with any bookies...I am not saying anything abt B-ratna (read my other post)but sure he has inspired many ppl in diff ways not only in Ind but internationaly..The guy is in his own league...Whether he gets Bratna or not it doesn' t make any diff to him...belive me there are very few ppl of that sort and we should feel blessed that it has happened in our time. Wht personal record u talking abt..? U talking abt all runs he makes they don't count towards Team's score..? all wkts all catches he taken..??? Every player who bears blue in match has serviced nation(Even if technically they r just employees of BCCI, a pvt orgn)...Dont ask their sacrifice,patriotism...If u cant support its ok Dont try to degrade them...

Krishnan Menon:
;-)... you do seem to have some perverted logic in your "thinking" (if I may call it that!)..
Without taking any due credit from Mr. Kang; kindly tell me what good did he do to the millions of Indians when the country was going down the dumps and losing? He might have stayed on the job to provide services to the rich foreigners, but does that qualify him towards Bharat Ratna on YOUR grand scale? :(

Are you for real or kidding??? If he is scoring runs yet Indian team is losing do you think that it is his fault. He is not getting is partners out for the records he is just doing his job. What would do if were in his position sit and cry.. oh I think I get it you will make a bee line to the pavilion too, that's what you gonna do ain't it right?
Re: Re: wonder why

Please look up the Centurion test match score card in your spare time (it might take you 29 months and 23 days to read through the entire 1 page of scores given your intelligence display out here) and that should give you some example (hopefully)... ;-)

Wow... you are the first "intelligent" cricket expert to tell us that if only Sachin had the sense to get out at 99; India would have won the Centurion test by an innings and 25 runs instead of South Africa winning it... ;-)
YOU should get Bharat Ratna for displaying ultra-human intelligence... :)
If you don't like cricket please get OUT of this board. I think you guys are just jealous abut the money they make. Look how many people make living out of this wonderful game. If you really appreciate the spirit of any game then you wouldn't talk such thing. The great thing about this game is it is a team game. Imagine hitting a winning run, taking the important wicket in the game, taking a catch. All these feelings cannot be explained that's the spirit to appreciate.... Any ways those losers who never experienced such a feeling in their life will never understand it.
