BCCI cannot be absloved from the reposibility of the acts of Mr. Lalit Modi simply by saying that they are not aware of many things that was done in Modi Era. The Acts of Modi was needed to be regulated byb BCCI under their provisions which BCCI had miserably failed to demonstrate. This Clearly casted clouds on the integrity of the members of BCCI. Merely showing outside gate to Mr. Modi shall not resolve the problem. Further I am shocked to understand that members of BCCI and other IPL grup members are found giving clean chits to one another which needs to be condemned . Whether it is Mr. Manohar to Mr. Sharad Pawar or Mr. Vijay malaya to Mr. Modi. It is also astonishing that till now no demand of CBI investigation has come from any side . In the sensitive issue like this which indicates a huge financial embazzlement, investigation through CBI is the need of time so as to ensure trust by the people in the SYSTEM.

Please corporatise BCCI. Let it have a proper CEO, CFO etc. Let them be audited like any other corporate vin India. While the public like is paying tax this society ie BCCI is not paying a single pi to the government saying that they are developing cricket in the country They are fooling the public by not paying tax.
Infact IPL should take the service of Shane Warne and other Cricket legends like Kapil Dev,Bishen Singh Bedi, and others on governing council or decesion making in order to avoid controvercy, and allow pakistani , bangali, zimbabwe player also in order to make global presentation. and this time no controversy should be there in picking the players irrespective of country, IPL has already faced too much controvercy, further it should not face.
I never knew lalit modi was the son of KKMODI in this case they are a buisness group who are worth more than 4000 crore and it does not require lalit to make a penny out of IPL It seems lalit is made the scapegoat while the big sharks are still at large

I think u r blind. Modi had not earned a single penny through his father's business. He was merely a Executive Director one of his father's group company's. All he earned in the last 3 years only. Look at the tax he paid in last 3 years.

One of the stupidest comment I could read of late. Man, understand that more money you have; more your desire will be to cheat and make more money. It doesn't matter how much you have, you always want.

The main reason behind the whole thing is politics and Indira congress Govt. Tharoor gets into trouble and Pranab Mukerjee orders IT raids and Govt tells BCCI that Modi has to go. None of the media is highlighting the fact that the Govt is misusing the power. Let the Govt check the Bollywood money trails

Rajasthan Royals owned by modi's family which is very clear now after declaring the names of stakeholders of RR. That means Modi got RR very cheaply.

HEY FRIENDS
READ ALL YOUR COMMENTS IT IS NOT LIKE LALIT MODI SI VERY CLEAN BUT FROM THE BACKGROUND THAT HE IS FROM IT CAN ONLY BE SAID THAT HE IS ONLY A PAWN AND THE BIG SHARKS ARE STILL AT LARGE IS WHAT I MEANT TO SAY IT IS A KNOWN FACT THAT MODI SI NO SAINT BUT THERE ARE OTHER ISSUES THE SWEAT EQUITY, PASSENGER PLANES BEING DIVERTED FOR IPL IS ALSO SOMETHING THAT SHOULD BE PROBED
Lalit Modi by birth is capable of buying private Jet, every body knows that, he made the Brand IPL by single handedly, but having said that, it does not mean you start getting personal profit out of it.
Same time he is not the only responsible for it, what is the use of having governing council if they dont know the day to day work. Javed mianda d interview i read in zeecric, and he rightly said if you too much power to one man then MESS is bound to happen . i believe the authority will also examine the role of governing members.

Buddy, how can you be so naive? If there is something called a giverning council, then they need to question and analyse it before they approve anything. How can they say that they are not aware when they have signed and approved it? Will you sign anything without verifying it? If you do that then you are equally responsible.

at least he was arrogant and egoist. when sir sobers was there at the ground for the 1st match modi went to toss as a gentlemen he should have given the coin to sobers for the toss or atlesat he could have taken him along. because sobers was the emaple of gentlemen in cricket modi is egoist. one cannot have interest in 3 teams then there is bound to be betting since he has interst in all the 3 teams. it showed in ipl3
