Its really harsh on Dravid, he played well in the recent ODIs. Virat Kohli could have been dropped, as he did not perform anything in the recent past. Even Irfan pathan would have been a good replacement for Ishant.

People like Birju real hypocrites. Most regional biased people from the heart but will keep blaming others for the same.
Foolish indian dont understand DHOBI politics he porposefully keeps team weak so he always has reason if team losses to hide his incapability.
DHOBI KNOWS HE DONT DESERVE palce in team by merits but he is very good in POLITICS.
Now with this foolish team and no good batsmen entire responsibilty of loss will come on poor SACHIN,Sehwag....then foolish indians will start shouting drop SACHIN.
DHOBI will manage to escape debacles as he come at 5th/6th postion when india is losing or 80% match is over.
DHOBI come at 3rd/4th postion only when india is wining or gets good start.
if DHOBI easily manages to make runs bcoz by the time he comes to play entire field is spread out so with only singles he first tries to make 30-40 odd runs to secure his place with what ever strike rate...once he crosses 30-40 odd then he starts to think of winning the game for team INDIA
if Bowling is good with field set closer DHOBI hardly manages to make 10 runs
if DHOBI fails to play we say he is out in aceleration the inning as INDIA had poor start.
IN ALL CASES DHOBI is the WINNER thats the reason he has good batting avg as the come to play in later stages with field spead out and remains not out improving this avg.
It is such a shame that the best class cricketer like Rahul Dravid is been droped.
Why are we not droping biggest losers like DHOBI, rp singh, ishant, nehra, handgajan (impotent), Zaheer?
BUT we indians deserver to get FOOLED as majority of us realy are!

another useless south indian barking ...... you fellas are real craps, do you know that Dhoni is no. 1 ICC batsman and that Dravid is a total crap like you fellas, always and more so now!
I have never seen DHOBI performing in last year. He just take the advantage of a good start by Sachin, gambhir and Veeru and promotes himself to make some winning run. I have never seen him performing when our team is at 50 or 60 for 3-4 wickets.

1st of all dravid shd not have selected for the odi series vs SL now if he makes 70 in 105 balls it no big deal whats the use of making 70 runs after eating 100 balls it is better to get out on 0 than eating so many balls take example of ganguly in 2007-2008 ganguly played 25 tests and his test svg was 48 dravid played same no of tests with avg of only 30 then why did ganuly retire? acc to performance dravid shd go now dravid makes 70 in 105 balls asachin makes 5 runs dhoni makes 3 and only dravid is dropped
fact is that,whether we want dravid in 2011 wc
even dhoni shd be given a warning in last 4 yrs after 183 vs SL i havent seen any match winning inning form dhoni in odis leave aside test dhoni does not even desrve to be in test team but dravid was great and now he shd retire
the selectors are not selecting the players who can win but they are playing with the mindset of the players. if someone is not bowling well then the bcci will sack the bowling coach instead of giving player a chance to rectify his form
dravid can only make 60 of 100 balls nowdays he is not a match winner his best days r gone he has 10k runs but can he win india a match on his now at 37 yrs og age no sachin is in different league ganguly was a far better odi batsman than dravid if he can retire why not dravid why is he everytime insulting himself?

ganguly is fatest 7000,8000,9000 run maker in odis the world knows that ganguly was better odi batsman dravid was better test batsman give credit where it needs to be given
