Its shame
by your Doctor on Mar 23, 2009 08:33 AM  | Hide replies

Its shame on us. Its only a game, which was planned to improve Indian cricket, but if it is shifted will we get same results, how many local guys will be given chance. When Our govt. cant provide security better to drop it. Even if it is played in other soil, we will watch like fools (Mostly it will be fixed matches played for sponsorers). This action will spoil cricket. It could have been played in better places y only in Maharastra and AP. Kerala, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat would have been better places. India is not made of AP and Maharastra or Rajasthan alone.

I am very happy that this rubbish IPL is out of India.

Sad about the temporary embarrassment resulting from the inept and chor UPA govt not being able to provide security, but the gain is tremendous.

this rubbish gulli-danda game was destroying cricket.

VERY NICE VERY NICE!!!

Modi could not prevent Akshardham attack and now he is bragging. He has forgotten tight slap he got on both his cheeks from Mrs.Karkare during 26/11 episode.

I honour your opinion about T20 but its not about cricket, its about India's image which is projecting itself as future super power and so weak that it can;t handle two major events. Happiest people in the world will be Pakistanis as they don't have to work overnight to plan attacks in India. One attack in Pakistan is enough to bring India to its knees. Shame on Cong.

Election have a much significant importance than IPl for the country. Dalit Modi says that Indian government should be ashamed of this? Is he really a indian or a corporate monster like the Tata.

Why he is so worried about postponing the IPl after elections, did he mean to say that IPL would decide the future of the nation than the elections.

No true Indian would watch the IPL.

Cong's votebank politics is now affecting Indian capitalism, industry, development

many state govts agreed to host IPL mateches. So, saying election was a issue is not correct.

Cong opposed IPL because:

1) It knows internal security situation is extremely bad- jihadis can attack time- thanks to its votebank politics.

2) should such thing happens, there will be huge backlash against congress in vote.

SO, CONG CHOSE TO OPPOSE IPL. BUT IN THE PROCESS IT HAS SENT A SIGNAL OF WEAK INDIAN STATE LIKE BANANA REPUBLIC.

Cong has proved india's economic progress is at risk at the hands of its own votebank politics.

WE NEED LEADERS LIKE L.K. ADVANI WHO CAN PROTECT INDIAN CAPITALISM. NOT PSSUY CATS LIKE CONGRESS

It very badly understood by the people of this country. No matter whichever government is in power, the important thing for the government would be to provide more security in conducting elections than to provide security for a Private organization like the IPl.

Lalit Modi should be condemned by the government on his statements. Does he think that IPL would make a considerable change to the country?

It is the people who need to wake up and start protesting against these evil corporates who would are large enough to swallow the whole country for their progression.

Wake up!

Shameless, spineless Sonia chamchas like you are expected to comment like you. Your words reflect lack of pride & full of shameless cowardice.

On the positive side, you have all the qualities to become a Prime minister or president of India in the current political setup!

Ratan Tata is a wrong choice for FM. His decision of buying Land Rover and Jaguar back fired on Tata Motors. Even Corus acquisition is also at a wrong time when the price was at its highest. Now for the price I think he can buy may be either GM or Chrysler.

It is a shame that people like you are effectively siding with two-bit twits like Rahul Gandhi and the UPA monkeys!

Supporting IPL is akin to supporting mafias and low-level dukandars.
