For all the carnage he does on field, Afridi comes across as a soft spoken gentleman off it. A very respectable person indeed.

In India, we'd have finished him off long back. :-(

Pakistan has shown that people from Northern Areas are not terrorists. They are Afridis, Guls, Khans, Shazaib who know how to win the heart of peace loving cricket fans

Indian cricketers have lot of money from IPL and advertisement. Actually they do not need any money and want only time pass. This is reason for getting out T 20 world cup. Dhoni has been given unwanted freedom and he is spoiling good players like Irfan. Any body will get surpirse why Irfan is being dropped. He is a good alrounder, he can bat at any no. Ishaan sharma is only fit to play domoestick cricket and he is giving lot of runs. He cannot bat at all and he is playing every game, whereas Irfan is being dropped again for West Indies tour. Will selectors give some attention to this.

Marvelous Teamwork, fantastic bowling by Afridi and company.
Pakistan had not played a lot of competitive cricket in the last year and half and still stunned the FAVORITES South Africa.
All credit is due to PAK for showing their fighting spirit.

you sound bitter and jealous. Dont be! its a game and if you love sports then you should appreciate a good game. Whoever it is. I am an Indian and was disappointed My team didnt make it. But I also love a good match ...like the one between AUS and Netherlands. But last nights bowling by the Pakistanis was the best I have seen in this tournament so far.
Enjoy the game guys ...and learn to appreciate ...You will learn from it

Hey Boy Grow up !!!!!
YOu should know bettter, Being a minority does not mean that We support Pakistan .
They are our bitter enemies , but in sports you have to laud those who performed well.
Its mostly INDIANS who have this sporting spirit to applaud that
country which has been ou bitter enemy since Partition.
So think before you speak and think before you write anything.

Yeah, I agree Ayuba. Though India Pak are always at loggerheads, I admire their performance at this WC. Always liked cricketers like Imran, Akram and now Afridi. Pak team showed a lot of energy and aggression, unlike India who were ekdum thanda.

What IPL gave India and participating countries is visible. What Pakistan gained out of not playing IPL is also visible
