Hey Indian:

What makes you think so? In any case the discussion is moot, coz Tendulkar has VERY CLEARLY stated he is not interested in captaincy..

Why type that message?

current indian team is full of youngters with lot of energy they won the t20 world cup after that BCCI HAS corrupted all young players with crores of money now they became vetrans and they are playing without commitments so bcci should pay half of the salary if they lose another finals, stop from appearing adds

dhoni is very clever as fox.
he announced before loosing that he is very tired. now that he lost the final he can always say that his is tired.

and if he won he would have been a hero. so you see.

It seems like you are finding excuses on behalf of Dhoni. Give Credit to SL for the win. No team in the world could have beaten SL on that day.

indian batsmen bash the sub standard bowlers on a flat pitch on their day and try to replicate the same thing against quality bowlers ( on a flat pitch again )...but they fall flat as they need more caution against at least some of the bowlers when they are bowling well...look at the shots all the indian batsmen played against mendis ..ridiculous ..out of nowhere shots ...but they played it because they have been playing the same against part time spinners and getting away with it...they need to be more patient and sensible against better bowlers at when a run rate of only 4 is needed only after 10 overs !

Yes they do need rest
by Sreejayanthi G on Jul 07, 2008 09:43 PM  | Hide replies

Yes they do need rest. After all they are very tired after making money in IPL. Now that money has come there way, they must really be tired of too much cricket(IPL) to play for the country and hence need rest.

why everyone is after them. they are making goo money. the tv channels do so are the commercial guys!! we like fools sitting and wasting one fll day infront of TV and keep pondering over the loss, they frget the moment they are out of ground and then their mind is fully into commercials, parties, struggles to get into the team and their records.

Obviously, thats their bread and butter. So whats the harm in doing it that way. BCCI does not represent India in the first place. Does an actor whoes movie is a flop worry about it. Does a judge worry for having passed an wrong judgement consciously. Then what are we talking about

1983 team should travel to Lanka
by veera on Jul 07, 2008 09:29 PM  | Hide replies

The 1983 team comprising Kapil, Gavaskar, Vengsarkar, Srikkanth, Binny and others will play better than the current team..

If possible we can include under 15 players and some great players who played in 60s and 70s..
