DHONI AND YOUNGSTERS DO NOT HAVE ANY TECHNIQUE
by ramoo on Jul 07, 2008 11:20 PM  | Hide replies

DHONI AND THE YOUGSTERS - SO CALLED DO NOT KNOW HOW TO LAY QUALITY SPINNERS. IT WAS OBVIOUS FROM THE WAY RAINA, YUVRAJ, UTHAPPA AND OTHERS WERE OUT TO ATROCIOUS SHOTS.
PLAYING ON A FLAT TRACK AND FAILING TO SCORE 274 IS UNPARDONABLE.
ALL THE SUCCESS THAT THE TEAM HAS GOT IN 50 OVER GAME HAS BEEN WHEN SACHIN OR GANGULY HAVE PLAYED WELL. WHENEVER DHONI HAS PLAYED HIS OWN TEAM HE HAS LOST.
DHONI DOES NOT WANT ANY SENIOR CRICKETER IN THE DRESSING ROOM SO THAT ALL JUNIORS LOOK UP TO HIM ONLY. HE DOES NOT WANT SACHIN ALSO BUT HE CANNOT SAY THAT OPENLY - HE WILL BE SACKED BY PAWAR.
HE CAN BASH GANGULY OR DRAVID A THEY DO NOT HAVE MANY SPONSORS AT PRESENT AND GANGULY IS SEEN BY BCCI BOSSES SEE HIM AS DALMIYAS MAN.
DHONI SHOULD PLAY ONLY 20-20 AND THIS BCCI SHOULD ONLY BE HEAD OF 20-20. LET US HAVE A DIFFERENT BODY FOR 50 OVER AND TEST CRICKET.
THIS BCCI HAS GOT SO MUCH MONEY FROM 20-20 THAT THEY ARE NOT INTERESTED IN TEST CRICKET AND DHONI DOES NOT WANT TO PLAY UNDER THE OLDIES IN TESTS AS HE SEEMS TO THINK HE IS TOO GREAT.
GOD HELP HIM. HIS DOWNFALL IS NEAR.

Dhoni to take rest
by pallu banjo on Jul 07, 2008 11:19 PM  | Hide replies

Very contradictive. Youngsters can go on and on and rest is not needed. While talking about getting out to fresh new faces - If you need practice against an opponent's new bowler or a batsman then what is your use? Tendulkar, Dravid and Ganguly have played against such similar players for very many first times and they have played with intellect and maturity. They have been successful always. They learn on the job itself and their technique says it all.Selectors to learn and not the players.

This is what is the differentiator: The crunch situations. This is when, experience counts.

Rest him
by Raam on Jul 07, 2008 10:43 PM

What is wrong in resting Dhoni? we have good wiscket keeping batsmen like Patel & Karthik who can play test matches. yusuf pathan, irfan Pathan, Praveen Kumar, R Uthapa also to be dropped in whose place sachin, Dravid, Laxman & Kumble should be included.

They really need REST in PEACE
by Ani Francies on Jul 07, 2008 10:43 PM

Some of the players in current indian team need RIP... Because they too much tired on counting money..... BCCI should realize one think.. whatever problem they have with Sourav & Dravid... they should appreciate their commitment and responsibility when they palyed for india.... So teach this people for value of representing nation instead of teaching them for only making money....
