Rediff.com has made a blunder in their site. You see in Group Stage matches, they have shown that India has played 2 matches and India has not won even a match, in fact, they have forgotten historical Bowl Out match against Pakistan in which India won by 3-0. Check out given link...

Bowl-out is not a good option in 20-20 or any for of a cricket as a decider....They have blindly followed something that Football and hockey games have without consider much aspects of cricket as a game...First of all in football and hockey...Once someone taking stroke...The goal keeper has important role to play and have some chance to defend the stroke....Here only the bowler bowls and no batsmen in between teh stumps...Even if it would have been 5 balls of cricket then would have worth...Play 5 balls of cricket...5 different bowlers will have to bowl each bowl...The other team can pick 5 different batsman to face the 5 balls...and depends upon score or wickets decide the result...This will need lot of thinking...will add skills from both sides to win...and this genre will go in line with cricket...where one normally wins by wicket or by runs...and its unusual to see somebody wins cricket by 3-0...Its good india made it...But retrospection should be conduct for bowlout option....

I partly agree with you... But afterall T20 is almost a batsmen's game and very rarely the bowlers make their presence felt. Also this bowlout option looks simple and logical. If you are a genuine bowler, you have to bowl bang on the target. Here they have 3 stumps in view and it should be easy for a bowler to hit any of these. Ofcourse if it misses, then its not ur day... :(
But that day, parttime bowlers din't miss the target( like Uthappa and Sehwag ) where as regular bowlers like UmarGul, Afridi( now he is bowling in almost all the matches and became a regular bowler ) missed the target... That's FUN... :)
BREAKING NEWS !!! Agarkar is selected for the all important game against SA. He replaces Joginder Singh on the advice of Powar & Vengsarkar. Lalchand Rajput gladly accepted the advice.

BCCI have probably booked flight tickets for the team in a low cost airlines...now tickets cannot be cancelled, so better the team looses...hence Agarkar is the BEST choice for that!

agarkar the ass, stupid yuvi got too hot with head weight so he droppeed a very simple catch off joginder and rp singh slipped to let one to 4. joginder is better than agarkar, and england had stuart broad as ajit agarkar, wonder our guys did kidnap braod and replace him with agarkar all made up as stuart broad :D.
Cricket- A passion for Indians. Now see how the drama narrates. After WC, BCCI come to know they are going to lose their revenue. So they made an understanding with ZEE for a Cricket League by whoing a rift between them (the policy was divide and rule) and all did very good charactors By the time third player ESPN come out with a special drama. Very soon there is going to matches between IPL & ICL, and we are going to "enjoy" the rift between the two leagues. Hats off to the mind brain for narrating this DRAMA
These discussion boards are here for a reason. Its here for everyone to have a clean talk about a topic. It makes me so angry when some jobless people post a lot of abusive things. For example, some guy below is talkin about communism and how he thinks that cricket is worthless. I cant imagine how jobless he is. But please, if India wins, let us celebrate rather than being pessimestic all the time. Nice job Yuvi. Thanks god Agarkar is out.

Can't agree more with you Mahesh. Well said and keep up the positive spirit. Even myself along with friends were thinking what if Agarkar was there...40 extra runs and a match lost. Sounds scary. :0

I agree with you that Agarkar has no place in 20-20 because he is very expensive. However, he is not too bad either. He is the fastest wicket taker in One day cricket and is very useful player. But the problem is still there. This time J. Sharma filled his gap. Thanks for Yuvi's sixes. Otherwise, India would have lost this match. I am still disappointed even after this win. India should have restricted them below 150. How many times do you expect India to make 200 score? Indian bowlers are always the weakest link in all forms of cricket. Whenevr they perform, India wins. But, apart from Pathan and Bhajji, no bowler looks impressive enough. Other 3 bad bowlers is always going to be very expensive for India.

Bowlers are not weak, fielders are. Did not you see how many catches were missed and balls misfielded? Some easy chances of run outs were also missed. If Fielding is not good, only bowlers can not do much.

yes, Ravi Shastri, Garry Sobbers and Gibbs all three have done it before. Garry and Gibbs in International and Ravi in 1st Class.

Yes. Sober and Ravi Shastri in First class matches. H Gibbs of SA in One day intl. So, Yuvi is fourth in that list and first in 20-20. Thanks
england should have sent mascarenhas up the order.. he surely would have got england much closer n also hit some sixes.... he's wasted so low in the batting order...

Mr. Mohd Paki, First teach your bowlers to hit the stumps without any batsmen... then come to international level !!

Why dony you go write on some pakistani website instead of poking your nose here just because the pakistan team is absolutely no good.

absolutely.. hitting a regular fast bowler for 6x6 on any ground happens very rarely... even yuvi himself may never be able to repeat such a feat again... they are once in a lifetime thing.... well.. if u ever played decent outdoor cricket.. mohd pakistan.. u'd know.. how tough it is.. n even if u paid someone to do a 6x6. he won't be able to do it.. ok.. so get a life.. mohd pakistan n grow up
