If Saurav plays all 300 balls himself at strike rate of 72. Then we will never make more than 220 runs in nany match. So forget winning.
A useless Chaddi Cricketer he is

Dravid is not Fixer or Chaddi cricketer like Ganguly.
Assistant secretary Snehasish Ganguly's role will also come under the scanner. There has been growing pressure from a section of the members for his resignation. Snehasish has conceded to having introduced Pradip Todi, younger brother of Ashok, to the police chief. He is also a director in their company.
It may be recalled that police had raided Todi's Burrabazar office in 2002 and arrested four persons in connection with a betting racket. Three computers and eight mobile phones were seized. Todi was interrogated by officers of the anti-rowdy section but was let-off.
Till late on Sunday, Snehasish neither took calls nor responded to text messages from The Telegraph seeking details of when he got involved with Todi.
If Snehasish's Todi links do go back to 2002, then the wisdom of his continuing to have business ties with Todi is bound to raise eyebrows as younger brother Sourav was then the Team India captain

Boss .. his godfathers are packed off long back... he ruled the roost with absolute impunity those days and caused havoc in the Indian Team and the result was pathetic performance. For the betterment he should be kept OUT for EVER.

Chaddi Ganguly and class batsman Dravid are no comparison. At 150 kmph he comes behind ball and Chaddi Ganguly gives skiers without looking at the ball.an afraid you dont know cricket.

rotation policy is in waitng for india especially for bowlers
by SURYAPRAKASH TATA on Oct 28, 2007 11:02 AM  | Hide replies

imagin a bit about world cricket, now 300 is nothing in one day cricket. if we leave sachin, saurav out then it is difficult for rest of indian team to reach even 200. dont say drop sachin or saurav.

if they loss form again sure they will go back to domestic to prove their mettle like ganguly did and dravid is doing. by the tiem australisa tour rahul will be back.

answering to your question reg suresh raina, manoj tiwari, parthiv patel, bardrinath yes they were in side lines. unless one of the team members fails or injured there is no place. there is a option to go into test format where opening slot is empty till now. why we were not opting like australia format like bringing in parthiv patel and manoj tiwary to open innings in a test. why middle order batsman onlylike branding? see multiple choices are there for australia thats why they were professionals

any one can open there is no problem with position for them.

thats how professional cricket should be organized.

BCCI you proved that you are the great!
by Dan Lewis on Oct 28, 2007 10:59 AM  | Hide replies

No one could spoil the team better than the great TRIO (Chappel-More-Dravid) did. As the other two were removed for the betterment of the team, dravids removal was predictable but it happened little late. You can not fool around people for long...it was bound to happen...his ability to lead the team from frontline was disastrous. So was is cricketing ability (past records were good for only book-of-records).If he can prove himself in local cricket, the door is still open. Sorry if it hurts you but I dont see anything wrong in what BCCI did.

DRAVIDS COOL AND CALM NATURE PUT HIM IN TROUBLE
by SURYAPRAKASH TATA on Oct 28, 2007 10:55 AM  | Hide replies

IT IS CHAPPEL WHO MADE RAHUL ENEMY TO ALL PLAYERS WITHIN AND NOW WITH SELECTORS TOO. HIS CALM AND COOL NATURE AND UNINTURRUPTING BEHAVIOR GAVE HORNES TO CHAPPEL TO PLAY AND BECOME A DICTATOR FOR WHICH NONE OF THE TEAM MEMBERS WERE READY TO ACCEPT. ATLEAST HE WOULD HAVE SPOKEN WHEN CHAPPEL QUESTIONED ATTITUDE OF SACHIN, KUMBLE SORT PEOPLE.

NOW THERE IS NO SUPPORT FROM SACHIN TOO FOR HIM UNFORTUNATELY AS HE MADE SACHIN A VICTIM AFTER THE LOSS OF WORLD CUP. AS A CAPTAIN HE DID NOT EVEN BORE THE RESPONSIBILITY HENCE SACHIN WAS MADE TO ACCEPT AS ALL PEOPLE ARE AGAINST TEAM. SACHIN IS ALWAYS PROTECTING TEAM FROM DIFFICULT SITUATIONS AND WE WERE FOOLING HIM. NOW CERTAIN SECTION OF FOOLS ASKING SACHIN TO RETIRE, WHERE IS THE REPLACEMENT.

It's not the first time the selectors have annoyed the indian fans and have made stupid decisions but this is reaching the limits. What does Badrinath, Tiwari and Raina need to do to get a berth. Tiwari who got unfortunately dropped out in Bangladesh series has been claiming a stake with consistent performance for the last 2 years or so? What else he can do to get into the team?

Badrinath has scored 6 centuries of his last 7 innings against the mightly SA "A" side and other strong teams and has scored match winning 41 and 82 in the challenger series. Who should be dropped and Rohit Sharma need to be retained? Though I don't want to get into regional politics can anyone justify Rohit's inclusion just other than the one innings he played in T20..

Again, Raina is in his form of this life and he is being side lined for the seemingly unfit Sehwag who I am sure will not live to the expectations..

There is no justice for talent in Indian cricket..

Shewag will score 4,0,5,0,7,8,9,90
And then his supporter will say, when he plays well, he is awesome and he contributes for team. (As if thats nt true for others) Only problem Shewag these days performs very very rarely.
Ghambhir is a better bet now then Shewag. Shewag still needs to play more domestic cricket. But he is undoubtedly a great entertainer and he should regain his form soon.

It is time for him to retire from ODIs and concentrate on his Test Career. For his out of form, he cant be blamed; it happens to every one once or twice in a career. He does'nt have any God fathers in BCCI otherwise no body cud have touched him.

No.. sorry... remember how he (mis)behaved when he had all the Gods and all the Fathers (Chappel, More, et. al.). He was harping on the performance aspect then. Same standards are now being applied to him so what is wrong...
