If austalians pass any remark about your BATTING or CATCHING THE BALL, just tell them go and ask your WIFE/SISTER/MOTHER.

They deserve this kind of langauge only.

Sreesanth, the psychotic
by Surag Singh on Oct 16, 2007 03:37 PM  | Hide replies

He has that rare gift of trying to make his way in the world by pushing against the doors marked 'Pull'. .

He's the sort of hopeless case that gives failure a bad name.

You're right that he's a responsible type. Whenever they're looking for a scapegoat he's the one who always gets the blame.

He's not only the sort of man who can't finish things he tackles%u2014he can't even begin most of them.

Why are the jealous? Because he gives over 6 runs per over? We are jealous of them because they win!

It makes me wonder if Sreesanth ran away from a mental asylum straight into the cricket field. His onfield drama is getting too much and I hope he gets dropped sooner than later. Instead of seeing him play, I would much rather watch one of the Ekta Kapoor's soaps. Geeks

Indians. typical. Always bear the white man's abuse and taunts. "Don't reply Beta, God will show them". Typical. And when someone gives it back to 'em, pull him down. Cowards.

Even u r a typical Indian, who always points fingers at fellow Indians instead of standing with them thru thick and thin. U seem to be a coward here.

remember one thing, no matter how our fellow Indians react to the white man's abuse - whether Gandhian style or Chandrashekar Azad's style, we need to appreciate both for standing up in their own ways, rather than calling them cowards.

Well sail. Why doesn't ICC not stop Ricky Ponting to play mind games. Cricket is a game played on the field. Why does he need to play mind games? Aussies were paid back in the same coin & now when their achille's heel was touched they are crying foul play. How outlandish!

Gautama Buddha's advise for Sreesanth
by Surag Singh on Oct 16, 2007 03:26 PM  | Hide replies

The Buddha explained how to handle insult and maintain compassion.

One day Buddha was walking through a village. A very angry and rude young man came up and began insulting him. "You have no right teaching others," he shouted. "You are as stupid as everyone else. You are nothing but a fake."

Buddha was not upset by these insults. Instead he asked the young man "Tell me, if you buy a gift for someone, and that person does not take it, to whom does the gift belong?"

The man was surprised to be asked such a strange question and answered, "It would belong to me, because I bought the gift."

The Buddha smiled and said, "That is correct. And it is exactly the same with your anger. If you become angry with me and I do not get insulted, then the anger falls back on you. You are then the only one who becomes unhappy, not me. All you have done is hurt yourself."

"If you want to stop hurting yourself, you must get rid of your anger and become loving instead. When you hate others, you yourself become unhappy. But when you love others, everyone is happy."

The young man listened closely to these wise words of the Buddha. "You are right, o Enlightened One, "he said. "Please teach me the path of love. I wish to become your follower."

The Buddha answered kindly, "Of course. I teach anyone who truly wants to learn. Come with me."

I do not agree with the advice given by the Great Gautam Buddha, because there are many occassions when whites even black as well as Indian origin players absue players of India without any provocation like Jhon Snow, Andrew Flintoff, Ian Botham, Lewis, Glenn McGrath, Lilly, Bobby Simpson, Michal Slater, Stephan Flaming, Naser Hussen, Andrew Nel, even Pakistanis and B'deshi's are not far beyond. The list is endless. There is nothing wrong in Sreesanth's behaviour. Because somebody from India is doing tit for tat, they are not enjoying.

Sreesanth is a blot on India
by Surag Singh on Oct 16, 2007 03:22 PM

Let the Aussies indulge in verbal duels. Indians are known to rise above such petty stuff. Our culture is one of non-violence and peace. We have not invaded any country in our 5,000 year history. Aggression is not in our genes.
Above all, the Aussies perform. They have posted 300 scores relentlessly. Sreesanth gave over 8 runs per over in the last match, dropped a crucial catch and was wicketless. While is bete noire, Andrew Symonds, slammed a ton. Sreesanth, Bhajji and Yuvi are arrogant idiots who are inconsistent and fail to perform at crucial stages. Thus they have to cover it up with this shallow histrionics. We are 4-1 down. Aussies have won the series. That is the reality. Sreesanth is no Gen George Patton. He should stop damaging India's name as a peaceful country.

Sreesanth should be made to publicly apologise to the Australian team!!
by Bhasmasur on Oct 16, 2007 03:19 PM  | Hide replies

Shantakumaran Sreesanth has been downright rude and insulting with icons of the game like Ricky Ponting, Gilchrist and he should publicly apologise to these aussie stalwarts to prevent relations from being soured!!

The problem is that the awful behaviour of the Indians and the crowds might discourage the Aussies and future tour schedules may suffer!! For eg. the Aussies might not agree to play at smaller centres in future!!

I think we need to show that we can set our house in order and the BCCI should make Sreesanth apologise to Ponting....
The aussies don't deserve this kind of shabby treatment being meted out to them...poor hoteling facilites, dust and heat and humidity of India.. they already have to put up with a lot...they can surely do without some uncouth behaviour from the over-aggressive Indians like Sreesanth and Harbhajan....

Ultimately it is the results that count and India should beat them on the field of play, not abuse the visiting players..after all as hosts there is a responsibility to be gracious and cordial...

You are perhaps suffering from a colonial hangover. The white skins are in now ay superior to us. People like Ponting, Gilchrist cannot hold a candle to the achievements of someone like Tendulkar who is both gifted as well as gracious. They need to learn to be a lot more sportsmanlike and not petty and peevish.

The rule of abuse..
by Rosy Monty on Oct 16, 2007 03:16 PM  | Hide replies

If any Indian is being abused nobody would be bothered. Try to recollect how Mcgra use to abuse our players. One guy has even has gone to the extent of asking "How is your wife and my children?"

Why Prem is having nelson's eye to that? Are you still in slavery mode. Are you independent or still following the orders of Western Media?

By writing these stuff you are killing not only the standard of unbiased opinion, but trying to impose what you write has to be true. No body can accept this..

You have changed to Prem Nicker with western piss on it.
