I agree that we need to build a strong team for the next world cup but not at the cost of losing matches. There is no point in losing the present matches dreaming abt the world cup which is not guaranteed anyhow. All matches should be given equal priority. U may ask are winning now? But still we have lost to World Champs and also only a bunch of younger players would have not done any better. U need to experiment with limits by resting one senior for one series.Throw Sourav out, No problem.

All Seniors are not SAME
by kaushik saha on Oct 17, 2007 12:55 PM  | Hide replies

Seniors in the curent Indian Cricket Team refers to BIG THREE (Sachin Sourav Dravid). Why all three seniors are being blamed this way. Sachin-Saourav oppenning partnership brought the first win in this series so far. Not only that, total runs picked up by this partnership is thr highest for the Indian Cricket Team.

that is correct, sachin is the only indian in ICC top ten players. He completed is half century with a six which proves that he was not playing for records as claimed by some people. He scored run a ball and got out in an unfortunate manner. With sachin and sourav the series would have been 5-0 at this time

see whatever u may say. it is on the cards. They are frustated by 20-20 loss & playing with brutal emotions. At this time they are the most dangerous one. But heyy that doesn't mean we r not gud team. we r.& we will be playing good in australiya coz there will b pressure on them coz of homegrounds like at present with our players. At least the dream of aussies of white wash has been thrashed.

Atleast today Dinesh Karthik, Badrinath, Rohit sharma should be given chance to play. Only Rohit played a single matched others didnt play any match. Any how we lost our series, so we can try with new team combinations today.

Yes, that has been the worrying thing for us and we have been working on it. In the last couple of games, we gave a lot of runs in the last few overs and that is the area we have to improve upon and we are working on it. It takes time, but in the near future you will definitely see us bowling well in the death overs," Rajput added.

STEVE WAUGH AND PONTING HAVE SAME DISEASE OF MENTAL GAME

STEVE WAUGH AND PONTING HAVE SAME DISEASE OF MENTAL GAME

Steve Waugh said Brett Lee is the world's fastest when Waqar and Shoaib emerged from Pak just to kill that spirit for his benefit in future...Also he said Justin Langer is the world's No.1 Bat while Tendulkar and Lara were ruling the world...I dont know if Langer would be remembered out side Australia in a couple of years...Then Waugh and Ponting just blankly said McGrath knows how to scalp Tendulkar...Tendulkar believed it and failed many times even after butchering Mcgrath in lot of matches...

_______________________
Where were Ponting when India thrashed AUS at T20 ?

After the failure they said T20 is not serious affair, Had they won what would have been the comment...

India defeated them many times, and still India is the only team constantly looking to conquer them . Understanding this Chapell spoiled our team way before 2007 WI World Cup...

Still AUS are worried on a ONE-ON-ONE tussle Vs india without sledging and verbal abuse...

Sir: disease or no disease, it is the winning that matters and Australia Unlike India (FLUKE WINNERS Most of the time) are victorious most of the time.

Let us fce it, we are a mediocre team and Mr. Rajput does not know what he is talking about when he says India is the only side that can give Australia A RUN FOR THEIR MONEY---ALL HUMBUG

What is the reason our seniors are not playing in good form? They dont bother India should win or lose. If they dont play also they will get WARM WELCOME, HUGE SUM AND BEAUTIFUL FLAT ETC.

Pls. let them stand in the earth.Always dont put them in the sky.
