remember, a frw yrs ago( when Steve Waugh was d captain), Ponting was caught by the police for molesting some girls in a bar or hotel in Kolkata ? He was thrown out of the place. ......... He is still under that frustsration !

he could not finish the work of molesting and he molested the entire team in the 2003 WC finals.

Needs to be seen out of all the 4 test matches that Aus will win how many will be by an innings.Only player who can giv some respectability to Indian score will be Dravid.

milind, u seem to be frm Bangalore. Y cant u come out of d well & think from India p-o-view !! Pls note - India will bat only 4 innings in the series... Aussies 8. The minimum margin of defeat of Aussies will be an innings & 145 runs.

wishful thinking dude . grow up. I wud love to see India win but lets accept the fact that Aussies are a formidable team. Our bowling lacks badly in all respects.
It seems rediff guys are showing a bit seriousness since they are deleting some bad postigs but there's big question tht if they are realy serious???? Coz since last 4-5 yrs continuosly people use so bad lingo tht involves abusing others religion, ctors, leaders etc ect... and they never did do, then why now??? i think someone would have taken action against them.
But i think rediff postings have already done too mcuh damage to society. and rediff should nt left spare.
Last week only rediff allowed comments to be posted which were abusive abt a particular religion?
Is anyone listening who can do something to stop rediff from corrupting society?
RE:Hey Rediff guys

Secular comments like abusing Hinduism shud be allowed becoz that an intellectual way. But Rediff shud never allow abusing other religions.
Without McGrath and Shane Warne Australia's bowling department doesn't look that formidable. If Indians play sensibly they can beat Australia. India has all fire power in batting as well as bowling. Australians are not going to find it easy !

why these australian buggers always shoot their mouth all the time ,home or abroad?do they forgat that have lost to bangladesh and Zimb....?
RE:Not impossible for India

Aussies are still strong enuf even without Warney and Pigeon. they are too good for India. 4-0 white wash is a certainty. India can do well by averting Innings defeat in atleast one test.

Remember what happened in recent Ashes series ? If England can do it why not India ?
RE:Not impossible for India
by Milind Manhas on Nov 20, 2007 03:17 PM
England had Harmison and Flintoff in gr8 form ....I dont see Indian bowlers crashing the Aussie defence so easily
All captains are under pressure. Was not Ponting under pressure when he played against India in the 20/20 and the recently concluded series. This is all tactics and our team should just go and play a good game of cricket and if they do this the results will also be good.
RE:dont say the obvious Mr Ponting
by Madhavendra on Nov 20, 2007 02:44 PM
Just watch the footage of the 20/20 match India-Australia n u will see how much under pressure (& frustrated) Ponting was !!
Ponting forgets to say even he would be under a lot of pressure. The last test series in Australia was very close and the last few one days, India has competed very well with the Aussies. We really need to click as a team and needless to say be on top our game.Opening would be the key as in the last series our opening partneships set the paltform for our bowlers to do well.
Who will have guts to hit a six on 299 / 195 to achieve Triple hunderd or a double hundred in Multan as well as adelaide pitch from INDIA...only Sehwag can do it....where is he in test match cricket...I can understand he is not included in ODI but still he averages over 40 in Test. He should be playing in Test matches as regular opener. India never managed to score 4 runs per over in Test cricket till this great man opened the innings in Test cricket. Bring him back and I am sure Aussie's will lick their soil to contain him....
