You are hoping for the best as a Sachin Fan. Eventhough he scores a century agaist Bangladesh, it will not be considered much. We require him to prove at England in the coming season and against Australia. I do agree he is having credintials but it is getting decreased with his age.

Mr. Lakshman,

what do u mean by Tendulakr continuing the slow rate?

Do u have common sense?

Tendulkar came at the end of the innings.. and they dont want to lose wicket... everyone plays carefully on the end of the day.. Karthik.. took 73 balls for his 17 runs at one stage.. First they need to settle then they can establish themselves.. dont talk crap..

Yes we cannot teach him cricket. But we can atleat remind him to move on. This guy played as if he is a night watchman. He has to told that he is in the team as a batsman. If consumes time like this tomorrow, he will be helping Banladesh in drawing the match. This is difference between us and Aussies. They leave nothing to chance. In case it rains in this match and you are short of time for result to an extent it will be your own doing.

Don't include Dravid in the list. Dravid is a player who performs well in alien conditions. Did you know that 90% of the man of the match awards he received is on foreign soil. Watch out for him in the England Series

Dear Rohan/ DM,

SACHIN, DRAVID, GANGULY still have lots to offer in Test match cricket. Of these three Ganguly is perhaps 3rd best in batsmanship, but even he made a difference when he was included in the test squad for the South African tour. Laxman also played well there. Remember, how the inclusion of these two players in the Test squad changed the fortunes of the Indian team? They are still India's best in terms of technique, experience, talent...They can still fight it out against the best bowlers in the world in the most trying conditions. Check this out in England where it will swing; you'll need the technique, experience, talent of these four veterans....

FOR GOD'S SAKE DON'T JUST CRITICISE FOR THE SAKE OF IT....

i have not seen a selfish palyer like sachin in my life (talking about cricket only). just when team needs quick runs he is looking for his century from the first ball. 9 runs in 31 balls. oh god what he is doing their. he always played for personal records. good track and harmless bangush bowling is enough to smell a century. he doesnt bother that india needs quick runs so even if rain interrupts the match we will have enough overs to bowl them out. he is very greedy and playing for money. he just want to show his sponsors want to show that he is capable of hitting centuries. he is eyeing captainship too. this is why he became vice captain and putted pressure on dravid. dravid is now afraid of him. with cotrie of vengsarkar and pawar sachin wanted to become captain again. not to win matches for india just to pull his cricket carrer two yrs more. you people may laugh but i must tell you i was a staunch supporter of sachin tendulkar. he was playing like a lion. but he should know lion should live like a lion not like a pussy cat. if he cannot bat like he was used to then he should resign immedietly. it is painful to see sachin playing like a very ordinary batsman.

It should be "Whole world is waiting for Tendulkar to retire" (not because he is a great batsman, but because he is finished). And the message line should read "And he will not". How many of u agree to this?

If you didn't do well in your current job, let us say, would it be ok to expect you to retire than dilly dally on the issue? Or may be your kid didnt do well in school at all.. Is it better to remove him from school?
Tendulkar's decision is Tendulkar's decision.
I watched some three hours of Tendulkar video on YouTube, and just realized. He "WAS" our greatest. Let's give him some credit for all the good memories he gave, (the sixer against Abdul Qadir to the sixer against Shoab Akthar, and the cheeky pull shots against McGrath!).. You dont throw the baby out with the water.

I take no credits away from Tendulkar. But it's time he bids adieu to the team. He is the greatest batsman on earth, but still I don't see any instincts of match-winner in him. He can be a good contributor but he cannot be a match winner(period).

Rohan,

Karthik took 73 balls for his 17 runs... it will take time to settle down.. tendulakr came at the end of day so there is no need to play shots or lose wickets when we r comfortably placed.. in 1st Test his century came from 160 odd balls.. that is not bad in tests... If u want 100's in 100 or less balls then u shud change ur mind and come out of ODI or 20-20 phobia.

Its great to see so many people having the time to waste to see the match and then comment on it. Lets all get some reality check. That's enough guys! Let's stop making fun of Sachin just because these 2 youngsters played well today. Let's not make decisions based on one innings. He has to play slow today as he needs to save the wicket for tomorrow. That's commonsense. Even if he is out tomorrow at this score, so what? He saved the first test when the so called "Jaffer" was duck in both innings.

Why is it always Sachin's responsibility to be the highest scorer. Why is only he responsible for the WC loss? Let's respect him. He is far consistent that anyone in this team. Let's see how these youngsters are consistent. These guys play extremely well when given a chance, then once they come in and start making money that's it. I have seen guys from W.V. Raman to S. Ramesh, Laxman, Kaif to Sewag - how consistent they were, compared to Sachin.

Also, Sachin has played well against the so called Australia and other top teams as well. Let's leave him alone. Let's respect a legend and be proud of him.

It was a one-o-one by Sachin in first inning, but we somehow managed to save the inning which ended up in a draw. Had Bangladesh played little well, they would already be on the verge of making history. 17 years of struggle in world of cricket and first test win against a team of billion mad followers and big STAR FORCE. Irony? aint it?

In the first session Karthik scored just 19 of 70 balls. But then went on to get 82 at a good strike rate. Watch out Tendulkar do that tomorrow. But keep your fingers crossed, coz it is Tendulkar, who can get a century or get out first ball, either way.

Can U tell me who is better than tendulkar in indian cricket now..have you found his replacement...Dont be stupid ...Dont be foolish ....Indian has got craze in international areana after tendulkar debut only. Remember, before tendulkar steps in Indian cricket the maximum one day centuries made by a batsman is four i.e., by Krish srikanth. Now, tendulkar has scored 40 plus out of which india has won more than 28 match..go thro statistics else keep shut your holes.
