I think its appaulling to get back a person who can make such a comment,as Jones is in a position were many young youths watch and learn from such incidents and getting him back is like saying ohh its alright now as you had apologised.

A comment made was blown out of proportion. More importantly he has apologised...I do not think he was foolish to mean what he said...but he accepted that he should not have said it and we should close the chapter once and for all. He is a fantastic commentator and it is good he is back.

You are right Sanjay !! Why can't people take it the other way that DJ meant Hashim Amla is like a terrorist to the opposition ? Statements can be interpreted any way to anybody's whims and fancies. The important aspect is that he has apologised and he would be careful in passing any such comments in future. Learn to pardon and see how peaceful the world can be.
I think he has served out his notice and deserves to be back. e is a good commentator, with a nice sense of humour, which got out of control. He will be a better man from the experience.
This is one of the stupid decision taken by the channels and BCCI. BCCI should hv raised objection on his presence in the comm'box. Though he is also an "ausie" like our coach, the racist slub should not be tolerated under any circumstances. The authorities shold immidiate action to remove him from the panel. It is shame on the authorities.......

Don't be so harsh! Dean has already apologized to entire world for his mistake. In India we take great pride in our culture of FORGIVENESS. He should be more careful now!!

there is no way he can do his job again please let him not sit again say something about harbhajan singh please stop him from sports world there is lot of peace among all sports person please, don't make cricket ground like battle field avoid him .......jai hindustan

Don't sound as if he is a terrorist and he is here to disrupt "Peace". he has apolozised and we as good Indians who claim that we are peace loving and forgiving, should show that we mean what we say. Forgive him, but if he or anyone repeats, then some action can be taken. Just saying "jai hindustan" doesn't make u true indian. BE INDIAN.
