Pakistan is a social problem as much as a geo-political/military problem. Breaking up Pakistan and creating 3 more Islamic moron nations is not the solution. Didnt we learn from Bangladesh experience?
Unless Islam is kicked out...people of Pakistan will never live in peace..nor will they allow Hindus and the rest of humanity to live in peace

Rishi, All separatist problems that assume geo-political scale start as socio-political problems. You correctly pointed out that Bangladesh did not become a secular left leaning state that India expected it to be. The issue is not whether we should help break up of Pakistan, but how should India plan its foreign policy taking into consideration the possibility that Pakistan might break up under its own weight. The consequences for India are huge. We don't know how the nuclear arsenal in Pakistan is spread across regions. NWFP has a border with Kashmir. It's worthwhile to publicly debate about our policy in light of these factors.

Pakistan will not break in near future...India has double the insurgencies going on in the country...has it dented india? Pakistan will continue to live and bleed...becoz that is what is destined for it. But look at the brighter side!! as long as it bleeds itself, it wont have energy to bleed us...So like Allah sez in Bhagwat Gita, finally the peace will prevail. :)
