Dear rediff readers ravi has been hurt and probably over reacted in his interview. He spoke of OBC, backward class and untouchables which was not warranted here. My concern is very simple, can only a hindu visit a temple? I think it is against the very principle of Hinduism to think temples are only for hindus. We are all human beings and anyone can visit any place of worship be it temple, mosque, church, gurudwar or budhist temple. Even any other religion conducts prayers or rituals because people of other faith have entered their premises then i would condemn the same with equal vigour. No priest or any trust can control a place of worship whatever religion it may be. I would say the same if it was a bishop or an Imam. Supreme court should intervene and make all places of worship free from the clutches of trusts who think God belongs only to them. God is universal and equal to everyone without caste, creed, sect, language or religion. If people think rules can be created by any temple authority then they are castist or in other words racist. Please do not rake up reservation issues here and discuss only about the topic. Please refrain from hurting anyone when you post messages here and behave like a socially responsible citizen. I see so many messages here full of hatred for each other. Its a very sad sight to see educated people fighting on the forum (pple who use the internet and read articles have to be reasonably educated)

Why do you need to go to a temple or church to worship ? extending your logic, isn;t god everywhere ? So, can;t you worship over your bear glass ? Did god vanish when you were drinking bear and eating chicken ? The anti-hindus would ask that question next, and you wouldn;t have an answer.

I dont agree with you. Non-Hindus and non-believers of Sanathan Dharma have no business in holy Temples.
These "foreign" religions eat cow, buffalo and pig. Lord Krishna is a cow-herd. In Goloka Vrindavan he rears Cows. So you want an cow-slaughtering idiot entering holh Temple premises?
THese people should be arrested and dragged out. We need a sign "Dogs and non-Hindus are not welcome".

Your message speaks words which will not be accpeted by lord krishna brother. How can God create different religions and religions into different castes? How does a cow slauthering different from Lamb slaughering or Hen slaughtering or even fishing. If eating beaf is a sin then eating any non-veg is a sin. (i am a vegetarian by choice and not by religion). There is no such thing as hindusim brother it is a way of life praticed by our forefathers. When communited were first created they were done to differentiate the different trades. A brahmin's son does not become a brahman and can choose any profession. Slowly everything changed and people followed castes from their parents. Before pple who took part in wars were kshaktriyas and farming vyases. In today's computer age talking about castes or religious hatred will turn us back to midieval age. Respect and love everyone as equal

How is that word 'equal' different than all other words for marxist sepoys and masters ? They focus on that word to open yet another division, for example Sheela Bhat and her BF/Hus are unequal. Simillarly we worship cows.
