Stick to the topic of discussion here

Dear rediff readers ravi has been hurt and probably over reacted in his interview. He spoke of OBC, backward class and untouchables which was not warranted here. My concern is very simple, can only a hindu visit a temple? I think it is against the very principle of Hinduism to think temples are only for hindus. We are all human beings and anyone can visit any place of worship be it temple, mosque, church, gurudwar or budhist temple. Even any other religion conducts prayers or rituals because people of other faith have entered their premises then i would condemn the same with equal vigour. No priest or any trust can control a place of worship whatever religion it may be. I would say the same if it was a bishop or an Imam. Supreme court should intervene and make all places of worship free from the clutches of trusts who think God belongs only to them. God is universal and equal to everyone without caste, creed, sect, language or religion. If people think rules can be created by any temple authority then they are castist or in other words racist. Please do not rake up reservation issues here and discuss only about the topic. Please refrain from hurting anyone when you post messages here and behave like a socially responsible citizen. I see so many messages here full of hatred for each other. Its a very sad sight to see educated people fighting on the forum (pple who use the internet and read articles have to be reasonably educated)
