Dear Nagraj,
If u r saying by removing dam at mettur only will avoid hurdles to that holy river, shouldnt u think that the other may demand dismantling all dams (there are more than 10 dams across Cauvery in Karnataka from the its originating place).
As we are involved in construction of dams, we cant think of destruction to any structure.
China has improved a lot by linking of rivers
I dont think there are not much narrow minded persons who objected that proposal. Tell me, if there is proposal between u and UP to link Ganga with Cauvery, should nt u accept that offer.
It clearly shows difference between Narrow minded person to a broad thinker

Mr Pillai, Please understand my response was to "Law of Nature" as quoted by the writer, he wants a free flow of water to TN as Law of nature(bride of tamilnadu and what not), Iam extrapolating the views of the writer by saying that, then dont stop water in Mettur too.

Certainly your comments have given me the perspectives of narrow minded person..

Hey
there is one idea instead of dismantling any dams
why can we collect money to built more dams across Cauvery in both TN and Karnataka
This will not only solve problem to both the states, and also gives the following benefits
1. Supply water to irigation lands at regular intervals.
2. Increase the Ground water table level
3. Avoid problems of fighting between brothers and sisters.
what do u say??

Basically Karnataka people are very soft and broad minded people. This agression got created by the opportunistic politicians who wants to gain politocal mileage for their survival. Dear Kannadigas, please uderstnad the politicians, In this verdict, there is no injustice to both Tamil Nadu and Karnatka and none of them are going to be affected. Only politicians will be affected and they want to create probelm for their survivals. They will provoke the innocent people and farmers. Dont get carried away.Let us unite.
