This is totally one sided story. Women are the main culprit for all... their way of dressing, immature kind of behaviour etc. They INITIATE evertything and finally falls as victim. Whereas normal guys are really scared to INITIATE because of social implications. It is a fact that women are more tender minded and fragile. They even take extream steps to INITIATE. Girls are capable of making the minute change of expression on their face and make guys walk behind them. Atlast they walk off (called so called cheating)when they feel that it is leading to trouble. By that time the guy would have become mad and take up extreame step like killing, raping, suicide etc. It is not today's story... It starts from the first chapter of Bible and illustrated in many epics

yes girls like to play with peoples emotions. not one but many, so if they played with the wrong guys emotions then they have to suffer. Just improve ur character. tie rakhi, no nice guy ll harras. but as girls will be girls. ll do anything for fame money attention.
remedy :- stay away from bad peoples. be reserved.

To an extend what "true voice" has said is right u need to look at both sides of the coin,there r instances where the girl may play with the emotions of a guy & when she finds a better choice she dumps him for no reason coz of this the male ego gets hurt & he takes such extreme steps.But a lot of time the girls gets hurt for no reason of theirs.

we have to accept that we are all refined animals.. the animal instinct exists within us.. both guys and gals. Civilizations, humanity etc play a big roll to keep our instinct away. But when the opp sex wakes up your instinct.... thats all.. it takes a different turn. No need to read bible. Just apply common sence

I agree with both Rajeev and True voice. I have personally seen both the cases.
But since the topic is about girls/women avoiding/handling stalkers, they will have to be equip themselves. Draw as less attention as possible and avoid any actions or gestures that wakes these beasts up (This might mean loss of freedom, but need to be compared as a mosquito net). For rogues, deal harshly with initial advances, and ensure that there is a full stop to everything. For more sensible/sensitive more often than not it is more appropriate to talk them out af these feelings. In both the cases, early treatment is the key.
Usually males are very less emotional and it is very rare that they have true love, hence it is very difficult for them to come out of a true love. So, instead of waiting for them to emotionally get attached and then rejecting, it is far better to cut it off early.
Then there will be guys who have absolutely no love but just lust or greed on women, these should be reported to local authorities.

I have to strongly disagree with you, TrueVoice. blaming women is an escapist and extremely chauvinistic approach. Dont men have any integrity these days? and what 'initiate' are you talking about? suppose a female relative of yours is being stalked or getting blank calls, would you blame her then? please broaden your approach and perspective. sadly, its because of men like you, that this nation is still indifferent towards the plight of women in this country.

I don't agree. First of all, girls/womens, need to be open and share things with others and not to keep close to their chest.This applies to my relatives & family members. Also, they should spurn the advances at the first place itself & not to leave the guy going after you for months & allow him to take the final step which will be fatal either to him or her.
