Marrying for love is a bollywood promoted concept. It is pure bullshit. Marriage is basically a contract between 2 individuals (Male & Female) to co-habit together and sire offsprings. So priority should be given to cultural similarities, financial compatibility between the 2 families etc... Ultimately the success of marriage does not depend on love but the commitment of the two individuals. Also, Marriage is not a union of 2 individuals, but of 2 families. So the bride and groom should go with the decision of their parents.....

Krishna, Are human beings robots without any emotional needs? Perhaps you are one who is fully commercialised and looks at life and everything from a commercial point of view. But marriage is not and cannot be based on money. Marriage is not just for making children or co-habiting. Why co-habit and why have kids in the first place? Lastly, what kind of commitment are you referring to and what for??? Commitment between two robots? And marriage is not a relationship between two families. It is because of interference of family members that there are more and more divorces today.
