Year 1981 1. Prince Charles got married 2. Liverpool crowned Champions of Europe 3. Australia lost the Ashes 4. Pope Died 5. A year later (1982) Italy won the Football worldcup 6. 2 years later India won the cricket world Cup!!!
Year 2005 1. Prince Charles got married 2. Liverpool crowned Champions of Europe 3. Australia lost the Ashes 4. Pope Died 5. A year later (2006) Italy won the Football worldcup 6. 2 years later will India win the world Cup?????
This mail was doing rounds as forwards during Football World Cup with a question that will Italy win the world cup. Apparently they did..... Just a coincidence?? Lets see.... :-))
India has problems...we should not expect too much of this team. Even though Shewag scored a ton, his body language is still not confident and his feet are still not moving. Dada is scoring but he also is not the aggressive man we used to know. He can graft but that's all. Do not expect a match winner from him. Robin could be good if he is given to loose by SL bowlers, which is unlikely. Tendulkar...you know his records in crucial games. Less you say the better. Dravind could score big. Yuvraj could also score big. Dhoni is looking pathetic. This team could perhaps score at the best about 220-230 in a slow pitch and 270-280 in a good pitch against SL if they bat first. Bowling...the less you say the better. One can't understand why Agarkar still plays instead of Sreeshant. One can't understand why 4 bowler formula is still used. All these and average fielding. Overall, the body language and confidence of this team looks uncertain. Let's no hope anything great. If good things happen we'll be overjoyed and if bad things happen, we'll at least not be shocked if we do not expect much from this team.

Hey, did any other team scored 413 and more in this worldcup?. If you have the answer, then i agree, that india has problems
Our players have realised the need to win desperately and will put their best efforts to beat Sri Lanka. In this period of tension our tem needs suport and let us all cheer for them.
After having a look at the stats thrown around the rude realisation that hey we are talking only about qualifying in the round 1 here .God only can save our team.

India can be among super 8's.Given the teams current form and self Belief, can they be a part of last4 and last2 leaving alone the chances of lifting the World Cup?
