India is in a sticky wicket!
by Dipankar Sarkar on Mar 22, 2007 01:49 PM

India has problems...we should not expect too much of this team. Even though Shewag scored a ton, his body language is still not confident and his feet are still not moving. Dada is scoring but he also is not the aggressive man we used to know. He can graft but that's all. Do not expect a match winner from him. Robin could be good if he is given to loose by SL bowlers, which is unlikely. Tendulkar...you know his records in crucial games. Less you say the better. Dravind could score big. Yuvraj could also score big. Dhoni is looking pathetic. This team could perhaps score at the best about 220-230 in a slow pitch and 270-280 in a good pitch against SL if they bat first. Bowling...the less you say the better. One can't understand why Agarkar still plays instead of Sreeshant. One can't understand why 4 bowler formula is still used. All these and average fielding. Overall, the body language and confidence of this team looks uncertain. Let's no hope anything great. If good things happen we'll be overjoyed and if bad things happen, we'll at least not be shocked if we do not expect much from this team.
