Environmental education and Disaster management have already become a part of curriculum, but not an agenda of Government steeped in political corruption. Just like Mahatma's principles are taught but seldom practiced. Good going indeed.

You know why Indians love to leave India for abroad, because of the lazyness of Indians in India. It is not just a coincidence that Indians have a reputation of the laziest race on the planet.
In Sports, in disaster planning, in politics, in foreign policy, you name it and Indians will prove to be the last, India is pile of shit where flies accumulate
This is just the beginning.We are going to see worse unless each one of us wake up to the realities of Global warming. The Himalayas are melting due to Global Warming. Please do your individual duty to reduce Global warming.

Its not NON- sense. Its is right. World knows that during Indo- Chinese war in 1960s , the known communist leaders like Jyoti Basu and Harkishan Singh Surjit supported China. After the fall of USSR, china is feeding communists of SAARC region. Some Moists can't defeat the ARMY of a nation untill not supported from outside. Also during Indo-Pak war of 1971 china supported pakistan. ISI is very active in Nepal.

This flood in bihar is no tsunami. No matter what precautions you take, other than building a strong 20 foot concrete wall all along the cost, a tsunami is unpredictable and hence un-defendable. A shakeup in the ocean floor displacing millions of gallons of water is a monstrous happening.
This flood however is a comparatively small re-occuring thing! It happens every year with regularity. This is nothing a well placed dam cant solve. I am surprised that we have not tamed a river after 60 years of trying!

Very true where there is a will there is a way, and where there is no will there is a hill. If you build a dam how will all the politicians share the crores of rupees which come as aid from the Centre. The poor are helpless and the politicians helpful, but only towards themselves. Jai Hind

This is very serious matter...Global warming is the issue of whole planet...and danger is EMINENT..it is knocking on our doors..these floods in UP/BIHAR, cyclone etc are all indications of approaching disaster.
Please watch that documentary at least once.

This situation is very similar to the Film "Flood" where the rising sea waters will make River Thames to swell and break an embankment and flood unknown areas..... Beautifully made picture and today we see that happening in real life and it looks very ugly .... Do we have answers to the lives of Millions of people or will we all end up lives in only worrying about power struggle..... Just imagine the spite of those 2 million Biharis.... Yet many of us just read the news and get on with life.... In India we know the pain only when something hits our own kith and kin.....

yes it is quite possible that chinese communists have been diverting river water quietly and now with maoists in Nepal India is in for trouble.
So called people of pain on the tribals and other daliths progress -I have a Question where are they.If any christian missionaries oe common people started to help poor people all these barbarians foul cry that they are doin conversion.The vhp ,bajrangdaland rss barbarians to look at the senario of bihar floods

RSS is the first one to reach any disaster site. Check facts and blurt out. But they are not responsible for maintaining and cleaning dams. Your secular govt and it's commies allies in Nepal along with Chinki big brother are responsible.
