to kiss or not to kiss............WHAT is the question?????how does it concern anyone in the universe but the people who are doing it and ...sometimes the immediate family members?this is SO way out of the line....ban on dancing,curfews on bars make sense atleast,they can affect your personality and therefore people around you but kissing...........well,hello?it's your body,do what you want with it!!!!
Common Man..pleople have better communicated life now...see the world how the loved one live in and Enjoy. So extend the same what least can be done from our present Life style. Kissing is just a part of this extension.
how can a government ban dancing, nightclubs and sue against a nude model.... that is really a taliban style rule. its suppressing our freedom. no one comples you to dance or to be nude or to see nude models. its our own wish. so if someone wants to see he/she can, if they dont want let them stay away from these places instead of banning these things...
its ridiculous to do this kind of moral policing ...tomorrow people will put curfew on all kinds of emotions....and people who say it must be there becoz it makes india what india what it is....please wake up.....the land on kamsutra ...? where temples have figures more explicit than one can talk abt.....
all this morality bussiness is hog wash.....most ppl raising morality issues themselves have very few morals.
Dear Friends, I guess its all about making one's presence felt... Sounds weird?? Well.. Lets go back to the old KGB Vs Pentagon days... The romanticism used to revolve round the fact that " Big brother is watching!!!" War sold well then, Sex sells well today. So, moral police imposition against trivial acts as "kissing in public", will be read and made a huge hue and cry about.One opines that the police has better things impose fines on. Littering public spots is a common trend in the subcontinent. We have seen a lot of fines imposed. Seldom the same has resulted in the cleanliness of the city. On the other hand,some people who had infact never thought that kissing in public was important will now reconsider!! Does this reflect anti-conventionalism? Would I be looked up as the perfect Bohemian if I do it? Is it trendy? So the hype is packaged well.. People who had to would do so even now and pay fines if required...Yes, the scope for under the table income increases!! Kudos to the police and the wannabe social polices for that!! " Indian Heritage, culture, education.. etc etc"?Let's give them a break!! Haven't we bothered them enough to our political and petty interests?
To my views, RS.500/- is very less; the authority should be fined more. In fact kissing in a public place is a taboo in our society and it is not Indian culture. If the couples or lovers want to make a kiss, they must do it in certain places where the privacy is prevailing and not in public places.
