Kiss, kiss away! For one thing, it pi$$es off the bigots among us. For another, it reinforces our freedom to do so. And lastly, it shows the world we are not a nation of Islamofascists.
Kissing is a common means of expressing affection, in this country, until the Mughal moral police arrived.
We have seen many things going wrong under Police..So its just a way of adding of one more rule to make the police pockets heavier..
Now the moral police will charge less and will allow to kiss...It will go like that..I have seen the messages ..crying for Indian Culture..but imagine the role of Indian Police...
Now on the kissing part...showing love or effection..is upon the couple..and they should be free to decide..more over it should be their moral to see where they are....If they are comfotable and others are ready to accept..who the hell is the police to intervean..and If the government is concerned about the Indian Culture..then please go and ban the licenced red light areas...and other bad things present in the society..
i hope we have rules like saudi soon. i d love to see indians getting hung on friday for playing cards. i d love to see all women being forced to wear burqas. God, please repress the indians further.
I don't understand why the police has to interfere in this matter. It's just a KISS for heaven sake guys. Grow up...what's the big deal! If you think kissing in public should be banned then kissing in bollywood movies should also be banned along with hollywood movies, soaps, magazines...anything and everything that even has the smallest of hint that provokes sexual thoughts should also be banned. On one hand we take pride in calling India a fast developing country and on the other hand we are making such a big issue of nothing. Ther are better things the police and the government should focuss on!
I dont think moral policeing is a bad thing, when we see lot of people, who shamelessly kissing in the public places. We should have strict law regarding obsenity in public.
oh it seems the moral police does not have much work to do other than disrupt ppls private lives. They may even crub holding hands in public - next they may also stop two ppl of opposite sex from travelling alone.
From when does kissing in public dictate Indian culture. If you like someone one should definitley have the freedom to express it - and that can be in ne way. Instead of such stupid laws and rules they should really put their brains which will improve the growth of our country - how mayn dowry deaths are given justice - this is a more moral issue - i think they should fine ppl taking n giving dowry - specially in south india - where many girls remain unmarried or marry an unsuitable person just cos their parents cant afford dowry - is this not a social case of moral values?
I think the politicians of today seem to forget that the youth of today are the voters of tomorrow or rather today itself. I think they have missed a trick here and will pay for these attrocities in future polls. By trying to raise up moral issues they are only trying to distract the common man from the real problems, of hunger, education, female infanticide etc. But I would not worry too much things are just coming a full circle where they will reap what they have sowed.
