Do you advocate Moral police? Think of India becoming Saudi Arabia. If you dont know what is Moral Police ask someone (non-muslim) who has been to Saudi Arabia and he will tell you.
Never give away your freedom to authorities because once you give away your freedom, it takes 100 years to get it back.
If you think something is not moral, criticise in media but dont allow authorities to make rules and implement them. Personally I think every case should be dealt differently. Kissing in public is different from Nude models appearing in fashion shows. Deal both separately. People know what is moral and what is not let them make decision.
I think this moral policing would have to stop at some decent place. A kiss is merely an expression of love and affection. You kiss your partner in public if both of you feel that you are up to it. If you are too shy to, then you dont. That's all there is to it.
kissing should be banned in public places...can we kiss our boyfriend or girlfriend at home in front of our parents??? most often not... similarly public places are our common homes... we should not create an uncomfirtable environment over there...
Hi, I welcome this sort of rules and norms from the governmnt...because our country is something which depicts and portrays cultural heritage to the neighbouring countries..not only to them..but to the whole world.!! So things shd not be westernized as far as Indian culture is concerned!!! If couples wanna have romance then let them have it in a closed room and not in public,thats so important that the young generation should not get energized by seeing all the happenings that takes place in the public.I mean the way in which a couple can behave in public too...i appreciate the decision by the governmnt...and couples u can make romance in a closed room and not in open space....
Someone shared that we are indians and should not do this. but we are also land of Kamasutras, a place where a lady was shared amongst 5 brothers, where a GOD had numerous lovers. The indian mindset is intriguing. One hand they refuse publik display of emotions but the same set of people loves an "open" european or american culture. We take pride being a land of Kamasutra but a public kissing being not accepted! Ridiculous!! What is the harm of kissin in public and showing your feelings? I feel the person with pervert mind is the only one who will find the public kissing indecent. I guess, the moral police are the most immorals ones :)) otherwise they would not take up this job.

Everything in this world should have limits. Accepted? Until the act of showing love (kissing)does not go beyond the limits of indecency, it should not be stopped.
It should a cognizable offense not just to kiss, but to even look at anyone. As such, Laws must be passed outlawing looking and ogling, whether inter-sex or intra-sex. Also all forms of touching must be abolished - shaking of hands, salaam-ing and namaste-ing, as you will be required to look at the person during such greetings, which is illegal. Also, no one should be allowed to speak to anyone, or make any speeches in any public place. However, relieving oneself in public, such defecating, urinating, belching, farting, spitting, vomiting, etc., must be greatly encouraged, even offering rewards whenever such great deeds are committed in public.
well i welcome this moral policeing...... but tht doesnt means that the police have to act against couples as criminals. It should handled with care. couples shudnt be beaten up in public, it will ruin their life. Police shud be carefull enough tht they dont ruin ones life in the name of moral policeing. Law enforcers take advantage of the suitation and extort money frm them or else they hav to face humilation. Well kissing in public is bad, it shudnt be punished so harsh. The real culprits is bollywood. wht is censor board doing when we they hav kissing scenes in movie. These r viewed publicly , right? so is police going to do anything for tht?
