Referee is partial
by RAMBABU on Jun 15, 2006 03:30 PM  Permalink

Lara's rude behaviour is not good for the cricket. He shall be punished for his bad act. If referee is sleeping during that moment, let him see the TV replay.

The fault is with our guyz
by Sai on Jun 15, 2006 04:06 AM  Permalink

The fault lies in our guyz only.Dhoni should n't have walked off in the first place...what was he trying to prove? Who asked him to follow Lara's orders? Did Dhoni forget that Lara is captain of WI not India? And why does Dravid always keep mum...Maybe he'll say that He's being dignified and following sportmanship...but don't u people think that it is only a mask to cover his meek nature...And why isn't BCCI doing something to check this biased nature of Referees

dhoni v/s lara
by rakesh on Jun 14, 2006 11:41 PM  Permalink

it happens in the field, and more upon when you find the opposite team, rather the batsman thrashing you all over the field, and you loose your cool. this was what happened to lara. the mr he-man, sent the ball over the places like firing bullets, and india gaining lead. lara did not had any options, as the replays were not clear, whether dhoni's catch was latched on clean inside the ropes by ganga, or not. he reacted teh other way, otherwise he (lara) too is a gentleman, a great player, but the deed was too unmanly. indians (specially dhoni and rahul) showed the spirit, by accepting and paying regards to lara's call. the truth still lies with ganga, who still is not sure whether he caught it clean or not, and then its lara who knows it well, what he did was correct or not.

Why bother
by sandeep on Jun 14, 2006 11:20 PM  Permalink

i know that ICC are biased but what about others look at the commentator like ian botham tony cozier ian bishop who even if india is winning they raise questions about FAIR PLAY and always talk abt their perspective just listen in two test to cozier and bishop you will be tempted to think west indies nearly won and finally why does indian companies like MRF who dont care to sponsor people like rathore bhutia anju george etc but sponsor lara after this series i am sorry i have lost all respect for lara now we cant control ICC but will MRF withdraw lara.. after all indian are not asking lara not to score against india but be fair stop giving nonsense statements but MRF will continue lara then why are we talking about ICC

Match Refree against india?
by Jairam on Jun 14, 2006 08:36 PM  Permalink

When India had just beaten New Zealand to the next World Cup Cricket, it would be obvious that any New Zealander would be up against India. The ICC, knowing this fully well and being "scared" of the Indian Board's Financial clout, will go out of the way to hurt the Indians. They selected a New Zealander as the Match Referee and that chap lost no time in finding fault with the Indian players' behaviour and at the same time condoned the bigger "crimes" commited by Messrs. Lara and Company.
The Indian Board should protest such Match Referees and assert their right to reject them as Sri Lanka had done with the Umpire Darell Hair not so long ago.

ICC's biased nature
by niketan on Jun 14, 2006 07:18 PM  Permalink

ICC always biased towards indian players.. As it has been seen in past also..match referee also allgeged indian players most of the time ... but if same thing done by any other player ICC will defend his act.. This is bad from ICC .they should take care of their decision against the country which give them maximum revenue..

What is Match Referee ?????
by Chandrakant Gahiwad on Jun 14, 2006 01:14 PM  Permalink

Lot many of us have seen the scenes on playground. Everybody knows the facts better. BCCI is keeping quiet on the issue, what we can do? The act of match referee is baised in every case.
