Match Refree against india?
by Jairam on Jun 14, 2006 08:36 PM

When India had just beaten New Zealand to the next World Cup Cricket, it would be obvious that any New Zealander would be up against India. The ICC, knowing this fully well and being "scared" of the Indian Board's Financial clout, will go out of the way to hurt the Indians. They selected a New Zealander as the Match Referee and that chap lost no time in finding fault with the Indian players' behaviour and at the same time condoned the bigger "crimes" commited by Messrs. Lara and Company.
The Indian Board should protest such Match Referees and assert their right to reject them as Sri Lanka had done with the Umpire Darell Hair not so long ago.
