by thirumurugan kandhan on Apr 30, 2007 12:02 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

We are never against Brahminsm & Brahmins and we are not going oppose that they were represented us and better than us. We all wish that everybody should get equality. Many excellant people from different areas like Bharathi, C.Subramanium, MS Swaminathan, MS Subbulakshmi, Viswananthan Anand, K Srikant, Manirathnam, hema malini, etc are all belong to Brahmin community, we never betrayed them always we used to support them for their acheivements. But we wish the environment to acheivement should be given equal.

Kandhan, this is about racial analysis, boot licking, I believe there is a stake for ordinary tamilian in it, even after he has got/rejected reservation or whatever caste he/she belongs to.

MS Subbulakshmi married a Brahmin; C Subramaniam was a Gounder and not a Brahmin. The list of achievers from the Brahmins in TN can not be written down so easily as they strode all walks of life like the true collusses that they were. Today, if the Brahmin from TN has been wiped out in Delhi and Madras, it is for his own good as he has been accepted in the US and other countries with respect and recognition. Let TN have 90% reservation, the Brahmins still can not be stopped from getting their due in several parts of the world.

Bharathi, C.Subramanium, , MS Subbulakshmi, Viswananthan Anand, K Srikant, Manirathnam, hema malini, etc , all these people have who have aachieved many milestones in their careers have recognised tamil and tamil nadu as their homeland and have not been anti tamil they are brahmins but more tamil in their identity,so in tamil nadu we claim only 27% as reservation for BCS THE REST IS ALL YOURS AND ITS OPEN FOR BRAHMINS TOO IN THE GENERAL CATEGORY THEY WALK WITH THE MAJOR CHUNK BECAUSE THEY ARE THE MOST INTELLIGENT WELL BRED REFINED PEOPLE,THE GYST IS BHRAHMINICAL DOMINATION IS OPPOSED THIER UNTOUCHABLITY CONCEPT IS QUESTIONED TODAYS BRAHMIN DINES IN THE BEST NON-VEG HOTEL AND IS ONE WITH THE TAMIL RACE HE /SHE IS ALSO DISTINCTLY TAMILIAN THE PLOY BY QUOTING VEDAS AND SANSKRIT CANNOT BE USED AS A PLOY TO SEPARATE THEM FROM THE TAMILIAN MAIN STREAM OF LIFE THEY HAVE OF LATE REALISED THAT THEY ARE A PART AND PARCEL OF TAMILNADU WHEN ACTRESS SUHASINI WON THE NATIONAL AWARD SHE SAID SHE WAS PROUD BEING A TAMIL SHE NEVER SADI SHE IS A BRAHMIN, THATS THE SPIRIT TODAYS BRAHMIN IN TAMIL NADU IS A DIFFERENT STOCK THEY ARE INGRAINED TO THE BLOOD OF TAMIL NADU.

Get your facts right bud! C.Subramanium and MS Subbulakshmi are not brahmins. You missed Kamalhassan though who is a brahmin by birth but an ardent follower of periyar.
