isn't it a joke?
by ganesh on Apr 30, 2007 09:54 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

periyar has said there is no god and he is also against temples.

he also said people from all community should be made as priest.

if you are against god and temple why do you bother about the temple priest?

if you are really really worried about the caste differentiation, then squash all the quota system which comes behind the caste.

remove the question "which caste do you belong" from all the application forms right from the KG application.

Fantastic but before that can you please tell all brahmins to call themselves as shudras and proclaim that all shudras are equal to them.

No it's not Joke. I am very religious person but Periyar did a substantial work duty for the society.
He said there is no God which has been described by the Brahmins to cheat and rule other people. He made TN people to think what is God and what is the real meaning of it. You can see there are so many spiritual centers in TN rather than other states in India.
He was against untouchability and understand that people can not live happily with out God. The only way to show his anxiety is demanding people from all community should be given chance to become a priest.
He was worried about the caste system that is why he demanded for reservation. Do you think with out reservation is there any possibilities for other caste people to get good education. Other community people never ever can compete with Brahmins in education. If there is no reservation then all our universities will be only filled with Brahmins atleast 90% (but they are minority less than 10%). This is not because other caste people are stupid. Other caste people had been refused to get education for thousands of years in India. Brahmins have been getting education since Bharath's birth. But I am not aggreeing increasing the % of reservation in higher institutes. Reservation should be slowly reduced rather than increasing.
Thanks for your concern about this article.
