From what i have read abt periyar is he was an ambitious man. But alas he couldnot study beyond 4th std.as the rigours and discipline enforced in schools those days were against the very grain of the then EVR who was flambouyant and flashy with wealth to flounder.J.Nehru too was flashy and flambouyant but he completed his law studies abroad and a typical Englishman way was in manners and etiquettes so much so his wife(Kamla) and inlaws(learned Kashimiri pundits) too felt outofplace in Motilal and son's Allahabad bungalow!EVR was quick to grasp caste divide prevalent in his time in society and realise his ambition of leadership by pitting 97% against 3% precisely followed by political masters now in UP and adj belt!Needless to say he proved the old English adage 'Politics is the last resort of*********

Nice analysis,
personally dont know abt periyar but his ofshoots like Dmk gang are really anti secular/ merit
if 60 % is reserved in TN to please his vote banks then how can society progress
Affirmative action is good as in US where deserving intelligent blacks really progressed but the bane of reservation here is undeserving rich candidates who cant even get 1st class get seats with 50% scores- when 90 % scoring people are left hi and dry. Worse Poor intelligent people who have capability dont persue the cources as they are expensive and they have to earn for their family If dalits have to come up basic things have to be focussed on like family planning and good basic education abd health
something that the govt doesnt get votes from...

Gnana Rajasekharan Is a Very Safe (IAS) man
He works as the director of Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development
Under Many shankar Iyer
First is he an ofshoot of the Periyar legacy?
did he become IAS due to reservation policy in TN? Was he appointed due to pressure from Dmk or congress?
One has to look into these things to chk his credibility .. Secondly is he making the film to please his masters so as to garnet votes?
How objective are his analysis ?
That is not my job but that of a journo

India fortunately has freedom of expression. Brahmins have always attacked this very right of the Indian citizen. They cannot do it forever. Thanks.
