brahmins nonly integrated the Indian people
by kumar kn on Apr 30, 2007 09:46 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

the affirmative action is given in US to minority. In India reservation is given to majority who control all the powers in government every where. These people were the kings, zamindars and wealthy landlords. Why do they need reservation?
Brahmins were always poor or low middle class. They never invented caste. It was already there with the people who came from different parts of the world. India was like the US of now--an immigrant nation. Many groups from different parts of the world moved in and formed their own groups. Unlike US or UK where immigrants are asked to follow local customs there was no such enforcement in India. Brahmins only tried to integrate all these castes under 4 varnas.
Brahmins only integrated people. They did not invent caste, they did not divide people. All OBC, SC and ST are only following what British told them to.
The brahmins were at the forefront of freedom struggle and British wanted to destroy them and thus the Indian culture. Hence they invented this crap story of brahmin domination. In reality brahmins never dominated anyone . They always served the indian poppulation. Their might be bad apples in any community. IN Brahmins in fatc the percentage of bad apples was far less.
The OBCs by acting against brahmins are acting like the true slaves of the British who wanted to destroy the Indian culture and India by destroying Brahmins.
