Kannadiga try to speak one sentence of kannada -minus sanskrit words. If possible try to speak english with out any common indo-european words ok let see.

You should come to north karnataka and maharashtra were so many prominent old temples are mentained ,managed by non brahmins.Even pujaris are non-brahmins, they are called as guravs.Anyway they are really kept those temple shabby dirty way.All new temples build by non brahmins are keeping brahmins voluntraly as priest ,though nobody has forced them to do it.

By the way I am non-brahmin and my family deity private temple 's pujari is a brahmin priest and we are proud of him the way he maintains clean santum santorium and performs pooja with out missing one day no matter what.

If you or anybody thinks that indus valley civilisation is of dravidian (whatever you mean by that word)then please answer these questions.

1)The female figurings found in indus valley have forearm bangles(not braclet)just like rajasthani female (those white bangles on fore arms) are worn by them even wear today not by dravidians.

2)Another female figurines have sindur in their aparted hair ,they dont have bindis on their fore head. This is a typical north india style, not south indian.

3)The houses found are made of standard size bricks(similar to modern brick size)and the roofs are flat. But south indian old houses are

made of stones or huge clay bricks (not the ones found in indus valley)and their roofs are tiled.

4)The food what indus valley peple ate was mainly barley and wheat not rice.Wheras most of us dravidians connot live without rice most of us dont even know what is barley.

When ever people are forced to live their houses or they voluntraly go out of their home country they carry the traditions of food, clothing, jewels, housing with them .That is why we find vitorian building build by britishers in india.Habits and pround tradition dont die so easily.

By the way Iam a non-brahmin,south Indian rice eating person.
