the reason . the VERY reason why TN progressed so much despite of the last 40 years of rule by madness , hatred and narrow parochial attitudes adopted by the successsive govts of dravida 'thilagams' is that most of the tamils were good disciplined hard working Hindus. And the DMK knows that it cant shake the firm foundations of hinduism by even an inch; what has happened to these asa**les who once were fiercely breast beating that they are the leaders of 'dravidistan' ?? now they cant even lead their dravida 'thilagams' in power without the support of casteist parochial parties like PMK, DPI, and myriad other movements that mushroom during the 'election' season !!!
The moral of the story is if u try to impose a artifical divide and try to simplify things into plain black and white , ur strategy will prove immensely counter productive and all stand to lose..the DMK will soon be confined to the rubbish pond scum of history..
Now how about this... a country where all people get equal share of things. where all people treat an other person based on his heart and not based on his/her extraneous things like caste, where bringing equality to the majority is not at the cost of minority, where live and let live is the governing philosophy of the govt and the powers that be, where all people respect diversity, where people have access to such basic things as good water, education, food, clothing.. definitely i am not day dreaming , neither am i being utopian minded. for god's sake these things are taken for granted in developed world .. why shudnt a individual have a right to decent living. imagine if u r living on the platform and sidewalk. how demeaning u will feeel. Will the govts of India and the states ever look to solving these issues without dividing and ruling us, Indians ???? why are they following teh policy of Brits, our enslavers not long ago ??/what are all those criminals gonna do with all those shittloads of cash ? are they gonna eat them ?? whether u r a zillionaire or a beggar, u still end up in ultimately in the same 6 * 4 ..
all the deusions go away when u cross the age of 60.. Some of the very same DMK dravidians who were once rabidly anti Hindu became devout hindus in the twilight of their life.. Still life goes on and on, in an eternal cycle. as Lord Krishna said, so eloqently in Karma yoga "On action alone be thy interest... Never on its fruits... Let not the fruits of action be thy motive, Nor be thy attachment to inaction."
Oh and how dare am i quoting a Brahministic text, that too words dictated by a Yadava King !!!

i m not extreme .. tell me what good the DMK have done that really helped uplift TN ? free power ? free TV ? free rice ? free clothes ?? one day they will say that they will help provide free children for u !! man it suxs big time .. its these DMK types who instead of fighting for tamil cause, ended up antogonizing minorities and non tamils .. why is that passion for tamizh should be clubbed with condescension and mockery of non tamil languages ?? how can these people be so sure that they are right ? are they god ? i agree that they fought for tamil rights against hindi imposition which prevented tamil from not being relegated in its own heartland , but why shudnt Hindi be the third language ?? U will survive in tamil outside TN ? Dont tell me that !!! I have passsion for tamil and am a true red blooded tamilian , but dude letz grow up . no reason to feeel insecure abt Hindi.. no reason to feel that the culture from NI will destroy tamil culture . no need . We tamils have a proud history and great language and we are 80 million strong !! we should be speaking from the position of strength . by doing all sorts of these crappy things, we are only projecting ourselves as insecure
we need to look to telugus. how they imbibed hindi and yet are fully rooted in telugu culture .!!

hey pal,even at the height of the movement,there were only self immolations.every state is represented in tamilnadu,no one is troubled.a relatively well governed state,that is what is t.n. which nontamil has been antagonized and when?take it cool,dude.
why dont u become a primary member of a political party?set aside one day in a month to attend an activity.participate and u will know.sit and home and u wont know.

have u read Kavignar Kannadasan's auto biography "vanavasam" ?? u will know the true colors of DMK then..
And i dont need to join a political party cozz all the leaders in TN (with some exceptions) are corrupt and morally bankrupt.. it will create no difference anyway as long as people keep voting for free tv..
the western region of TN (kongu belt) is more developed and much tolerant. But these people in South and in the Vanniar belt .. they are so primitive. And that is the initial impression any non tamil guy gets in Chennai as chennai lies in the middle of the vanniar belt.. these guys are really having no parallel when it comes to arm twisting and power play .. They got themselves categorized as MBC recently ! pure selfish evil guys. remember sometime back Dr Ramadoss suggested dividing TN ? People like him need to be thrown into the Bay of Bengal
