Mayawathi, the Dalit Woman Leader of UP has called for a social alliance of all castes- dalits, Thakurs, Baniyas and Brahmins, in order to make UP as Number 1 State in INDIA.
Why is Karunanidhi or Ramdoss not calling for such social alliances that unite all castes?

why,for what sake? the dmk is in power without appealing on caste lines. so it is a political stunt to build periyar statues in u.p.why?so that the tamil community in u.p will vote for whoever performed that stunt.

You are not able to answer my question. Why is Karunanidhi not calling for unity of the castes of TN?
He cannot, because he is a casteist businessman himself and he used the ruse of caste to build a business empire and political empire.
DMK is well known to be a casteist party and the very first election (1967) was fought by DMK on casteist appeal. Dont deny facts. Even Maya did that in 1995, but now she realises that social unity of all castes is what will help a society in long term. Karunanidhi is refusing to do that even 40 years after being in politics and enjoying all power and wealth.Why?

come on man, you know that in India votes can be purchased by throwing a few hundred rupees. Unless poverty,casteism etc is reduced there can never be real democracy. Also thats why nobody has heard anymore about Periyar statues in UP because it did'nt fetch votes. Also by your same logic why is Muhammed Ghauri revered in Pakistan but not in India, what can muslims in Pakistan gain by respecting Muhammed Ghauri. How can same person be revered in one country but hated in another
