He seems to be an oppurtunist, nothing else.

He wants caste system to be removed and he was against discrimination. But at the same time he supported the caste based reservation system. A he gives a completely meaningless reason for this. He is an opuurtunist. Nothing else. He should have been consistent. Basically he is a brahmin hater and he spread that thought. He has made fool of everyone. It is sad that we respect these kind of leaders whereas there are some wonderful human beings who spread love and equality in a more consistency and rational.

Krishna, I feel a person who records his opinion on a topic should have a good understanding of on the topic. I guess your opinion would have been very different if you have such understanding. Your opinion shows your limit of knowledge on the country's cutural history and periyar's principle's and the kind of change the society has experienced after him.

I know only onething. u have to be consistent in ur views. U cannot form views as per ur advantages. Thats is obviously very cheap. u want caste system to ghet reservations and u don't want them in certain other cases because it is becoming hinderance for ur benefit. I am very dissappointed with this kind of cross views.

one should be consistent in his opinion, I accept. But to make a opinion one has to have good knowledge of on what he is making his opinion. See, one can be very consistent in receiving bribes. That never can mean he is perfect.

Again I'm telling you, first you understand the cultural history of India and Periyar's principles and then you make your opinion on him. Then only your opinion can be taken for discussion in a forum.
