E.Ve.Ramasmy naicker is not even an Tamilian. He proudly announce himself as A Kannadiga.. he started his career with all ritual things and later started rovolt on that..he married in his age of 70 along with 25year girl. he never beleive in any Virginity of girl. he lived for 94years and he opposed Congress and sometime DMK also. he argued and fought against rationalist.but there is no true follower of EVR today because EVR is never believe on Statue or Samadhi..but followers are keeping lot of Statue and prayers in samadhi.. PERIYARISM Failed in Tamil nadu..still it is continued with small groups and it will come down slowly..No brahmis following as periyar said in 1930's..Intercaste marriage are encouraged by brahmins only..so EVR thinkings and thoughts are followed by Tamil brahmins not by others..

Yes Jai, you are spot on, but the truth is brahmins are following the rantings of this EVR not out of love or conviction but because what we know as the "Stockholm Syndrome". A community under seige for 5 decades has slowly started admiring their tormentors and also accepted them as right. I know a few of my brahmin friends who are totally anti-hindu than any of the other castes. But the question is does anyone have the right or is it morally and ethically proper to take away the culture of a community by methods such as these.
