Mother and Mother Land are Noble
by srini srini on May 01, 2007 12:00 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

All men should be equal..Great standing up for it..but how can you say
such things about your own mother...mother and mother land are such
noble things.

The person who started the First war of indepence was a Brahmin and
the guy who ended the last war with freedom was also brahmin and the
guy who propsed 10% reservation was also brahmin's(Mangal Pandey /Gandhi).

Please read(google) the Book "The True History and Relegion of India" to know
many truths..

You are doing great disservice to national leaders, thinkers by terming them as Brahmin/non-Brahmin.

Varna is NOT hereditory. Its based on one's action/Karma and natural ability.

A Brahman's son doesn't become a brahmin by birth. Or vice-Versa. Brahminism denotes some qualities which one needs to be achieved.

I am "Chattopadhyay"/Chatterjee, but I don't keep my Sacred thread. Neither I believe in caste.

But I believe in Brahminism and its importance.

I will not wear it, till the time I believe I am worthy of it:)-

Stop seeing everything thro caste. Only United Hindus can survive.
