All these things are happening becoz brahmins are easily targetter and also to promote the cheap film "periyar" to higher expectation among public..Do u think the director is helping the society ???Hahaha he is one more intelligent OBC trying to trigger the OBC's and otehr so called backward classes to fight against weaker community...US, GERMANS,MOST EUROPEAN COUNTRIES ARE TRYING TO USE THIS AS TACTICS TO OFFER THEM A CITIZENSHIP...After 25 years india would lack of brahmins..Iam sure about it...watch out guys.

With the adoption of small family norms, the population of brahmins has already started coming down in a big way. Those who were normally born with 5-6 brothers and sisters, today they are single child to their parents or at best have a brother or sister for sibling. In another 10-20 years with the demise of the present brahmin population of 60 age, you should see the percentage of brahmins falling below 1 percent. The tamil brahmins who are brought up with the psychology of killing even a mosquito as sin, theirs is the cleanest of hands which has never shed blood. "Rich" amongst the brahmins being minority of minority, it is normally poverty which used to be their constant companion. But it was God's Grace that they were brilliant and in later part of their lives started reaping "Knowledge is Power" when they acquired material wealth by dint of sheer brain power. I am also one such Tamil Brahmin who had only poverty for memory of my youth. I must not forget to mention here my non-brahmin (people say he is SC today, but I never even understood its meaning those days) friend and classmate Chidambaram from whom I regularly used to eat idlis in order to extinguish that ever-present burning hunger of my stomach. Although I am now blessed with many friends -- both brahmin and non-brahmin -- my best friend is Ilango (a Naicker from Pondy). He used to tell his mother, "Amma paappan Nathan vandurukkan. Mudalla avanukku tunnaradukku aedhachum kodu" and she used to bring a plate full of home-made eatables and fruits and a glass of cow milk. He is generally proud to introduce me to all his relatives as his best friend and so am I.

Of course in the present highly politicized atmosphere the easiest target for the society is to take on those who are weak and those who cannot hit back. Who else fits the bill like `T' than a Brahmin? However, I request all my non-brahmin friends to touch their conscience and try to even remember one instance in their entire life when a Brahmin has harmed them in any manner. A brahmin may not have helped anybody -- because they were/are themselves in a position of receiving help -- definitely they would not have harmed anybody in any manner. Unless one is wont to imagine harm where none exists, I can very happily say that the Brahmins are more sinned against than sinning!
