Caste System was the biggest misdeeds of certain corrupt brahmins.
This caste system split our country in several different parts that it became vulnerable to several foriegn aggressions like the persians, mughals, britishers.
If the society was not divided in these parts, then surely the history and future of this country would have been very very bright.
I have no grudges against branhmins, but I deeply condemn their useless acts which gave rise t casteism in India.
The society was split on the basis of their business, and business was was used to split the society by adding a fake religious ritual of some idiot "Manu".

have you ever read the manu shashtra.i have experienced most of the prople who shout against manubad have no idea about manu shastra or samhita.i would suggest pl read fiest then comment.you will be surprised to know manu allowed reamrriage of widow and property rights of women.

Itis interesting to note that theso called Manu was not a brahmin - but a kshathriya king. Why we brahmins for all the present day ills. Further, Manu created only 4 casts - who created 4000 casts that we find today ?
