Dear Sir, some tax benefit must be given to the salaried person.Standard Deduction must be brought back.There should be increase in threshold limit of transport allowance because Rs. 800 pm for conveyance is almost 1/2 month conveyance. Looking into consideration it must be near about 2000-2500 per month. So as the case with education allowance and hostel allowance, it is Rs. 100 pm & Rs. 300 pm per child. In today world normal education cost in metro cities are in between Rs. 1000 to Rs. 1500 per month. So sir look into this matter. As far as medical expenses is concerned limit of exemption of Rs. 15000 is again bit low. Sir please look into the matter.With Regards Ganesh
