How to reduce Corruption?
by priyabrata tripathy on Feb 17, 2010 11:28 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

1. Make bureaucrats accountable for their every act in office by strengthening RTI. RTI authority should be made at par with chief Justice of India.

2. The performance of all top Babus needs to be monitored
as corporate executives are monitored in corporates. Perform or perish should be the criteria for these babus.

3. Each Gram panchayat should have a committee formed by local elected representatives, members of a reliable NGO(properly audited)and intellectuals with apolitical views.

4. We Indians are suffering from a serious disease of selfishness. The growing middle class needs to be sensitized to bring the change in society, expected from it.

5. When I came to vote from Chennai to Odisha, My Project Manager laugh at me as nobody paid me for that. He was paid to vote. So, all is not well in private sector and all is not bad in Govt. sector.

6. Education is now so much commercialized that a student is forced to think about ROI based on money spent at school and marks obtained. How can one expect sensitive citizen from these business houses.
