Honr.Fin Minister, Please increase the excise duty on all cars above 1000cc displacement by 8%. Also, please clamp excise duty on cars based on the per km/CO2 Kgs emission, so that auto companies are forced to bring the best cars for india. They have been prompting more consumption of Oil (US/Europe and even the Japanese car companies. The Japs do it cause they lend money to US, and US companies supply oil). Let the tax produce go into road development fund. Companies have again charged same price for all the excise duty slashed by Govt. (siphoning the amount of duty collected by Govt, to their kitty).
